Bathroom was not always working as expected. One day in the evening there was no hot water. And no place to hang towels or clothes.

Staff was really hospitable and the location of the hostel is in the historical centre. It was possible to keep baggage in the hostel while we were in Machu Picchu and in the last day.

While the area around the place is super quiet, the floor boards creak really loudly.

Centrally located and off the street which made for a quiet nights sleep. Also breakfast was filling: bread, egg, fruit from platter, decent coffee.

Rooms very bright early morning, no dark curtains, either light from car park shines in or sun comes through via the skylight. Some areas bit dated, but it’s a good value hotel.

Great location, only few mins away from centre. Stayed twice there whilst in the area. Staff really helpful - stored my luggage when went to Machu Picchu and when unwell they managed to extend my stay without having to move a room. Good breakfast with multiply fruit choices, which I loved! Always plenty of hot water and tea available! Liked that they have a bookshelf to get something new to read.

We've had a lovely stay. The location is amazing, only a short walk away from Plaza Mayor. As we were travelling with our own car, the Kaaro house was one of the best possible accommodations, as they offer free parking inside their premises. The room was big and clean, with hot water and electric heater. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended, especially for people traveling with their own transportation! 👍👍👍

Sometimes water of the shower was not warm enough ( I guess when other rooms were using the shower on the same time this issue was happening this but not sure) . Due to window style of the bathroom and space under the bathroom door the room was getting colder than expected in the mornings.

Amazing breakfast buffet on the terrace with rich variety of fruits, juices and satisfied amount of cheese, meat and very tasty bread. Very clean property on every level. Helpful and warm staff make you feel welcomed. Excellent location. Fast and reliable wifi.

Our room was comfortable and quiet. The hot warer was hot and plentiful. Kaaro House has plenty of covered private parking.

Staff were not always at the reception desk. We were storing luggage there for a few days but there was nobody at reception when we were checking out. We had to leave our luggage unattended with a note when we left.

the floors are so noisy and squeak when people walk along - plus rooms by the reception are very loud with late check ins and chatting - annoying if you early for trips and tours.

staff were great - when I was ill we paid for late check out till 2pm and they let us stay in the room till our bus at 8pm. the breakfast was good and they do a packed breakfast if leaving early. hot water and nice showers
