It's a detail, but the blankets are quite heavy, and their weight can get uncomforable. It would have been nice to have a duvet.

Staff is very helpfull in providing information. Great breakfast. Location is great in the centre of Chivay.

Rooms r very basic and thete's almost no light in the room. No plave to hang any clothes or towels. The electric sockets were bad and the plugs kept falling out. Water in the shower was hot but there was no pressure

Colca Andina Inn is located in the heart of Chivay. It's a great choice if you're exploring el Valle del Colca and also to walk around Chivay. Rooms aren't so big, but they're still comfortable. Unlike other hostels in the area, the water runs, and it's hot (which is nice!) Breakfast is served in the terrace (covered) from which you have beautiful views of the valley and the volcanoes.

Very good stay when visiting Colca Canyon, beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. A heater is also provided in the room for cold nights. Breakfast was simple but good for a day of walking and with a nice view on the mountains surrounding Chivay. Definitely worth the money you pay.

Welcoming staff always looking to make you comfortable. They organised our two day trip in detail (Arequipa to chivay, chivay to Puno). We had a moveable heater that was sufficient to heat the room. Magnificent view on the breakfast area. we were served hot bread with fresh fruits for breakfast!

The room was cold and the blankets quite heavy. We could not do a late check-out which was a bit stressful for me as I was ill.

The room was nice, the beds good, just quite cold, but one could lend a heater for 15 Sol per night. The breakfast room is very nice with a great view over Chivay. The breakfast was nothing special but good. As I was suffering from severe altitude sickness I could not really enjoy the nice city of the Chivay but the accomodation is located quite near to the center. Fortunately we found a farmacia very close to the accomodation where they sell oxygen and other helpful meds. The accomodation offers coca tea - and if you chew leaves make sure to use something sweet in combination.

It felt like the rooms were prison cells as there was limited natural light and my friend’s room had not been cleaned properly as there was a half eaten apple next to the bed and no towels or toilet roll which had to be requested numerous times. Plugs would not stay in sockets. Breakfast was appalling. it was self service which included boiling a kettle, cooking eggs, the bananas were overripe, the bread stale and the butter and jam had been put out on the tables the night before without being covered.

The bed was comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was good. They did lend me a hairdryer.

There is enough light in the room, but it is in bright white making the stay not so cosy.

We were (almost?) the only guests Very beautiful rooftop Staff went the extra mile for arranging us a breakfast at 05:45 before our Colca Canion Tour. They also gave us a heater, as it gets very cold at night.
