Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe pillow here was unequivocally the worst pillow I have ever encountered in my entire life. The super loud doorbell going off at all hours of the day and night was annoying too. A bit stuffy and noisy at times too.
Good, well maintained little place right in the center of Lima. Convenient to everything and well cared for by the staff.

United StatesThere is no water for showering before 8 AM in the morning. The hotel should have told the clients in advance. In addition, I wish the shared shower room has a rack for putting the shampoo and soap.
The location is perfect. It is only a few steps from the historical center and museums. It is also close to the city center and transit center. There are lots of restaurants and bars for late-night dinners. The room and bathrooms are very clean. The staffs, although not speaking English, are great and helpful.

Luis and Gris were very helpful and assisting. They helped me at their best capacity. I was placed in a very comfortable room so I can rest my mind and read and study more. The location is perfect, very close to plaza Miranda and Plaza de Armas and other major places. The shower is normally hot and the bathroom is always clean. Internet is not really that bad and there are restaurants available nearby. I recommend Korikancha and I will come back again. Thanks to Luis and Gris. I had a great time.

This hotel was a perfect location to deal with all I had to do before leaving Peru after 4 months. The staff helped me with new SIM and also shopping was close by. Small food stands at night and wifi was awesome.

A laid back little hostal in the centre of the city, it was excellent value and the location could not be better. We really liked our stay here that we keep on extending our stay. The staff are also so nice. The communal bathrooms were always spotless and there was always hot water.

FranceThe owner charged an extra 18% VAT on the room cost. Foreigners staying less than 60 days in Peru are exempt! Hard, cold bed. Very uncomfortable rubber covered pillows. Window "lock" was a piece of wood. Smelly towels. Doorbell rings during the night and wakes you up. Etc. Awful. The worst hotel I stayed in during 10 weeks in Peru.

NetherlandsNo fresh air in the room, very damp air, saw fungus on the ceiling that caused a lot of coughing (asthmatic) no windows, short, cold and inefficient sheets and no hot shower. We booked one of the cheapest rooms, but the things mentioned above, should’ve been decent and they weren’t.
