This place was fantastic. Staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond even procuring us bicycles to borrow. This place melds all of the privacy of a hotel with all of the social accommodation and service of an intimate bed and breakfast. I don't think we'd have stayed anywhere else even with an unlimited budget.

I stayed at La Casona Azul on my first night in Peru. They were responsive to my messages and arranged early check in and an airport taxi for me before my arrival. Janet, Renzo and the señora who made breakfast were all extremely lovely and friendly, I felt very welcome and safe. The breakfast was delicious and I loved trying new fruits I hadn't tried before. Highly recommended.

Hotel accommodated our request for early check-in. The room was ready when we reached the hotel at 8.45am! The breakfast was marvelous 😋. Location was great too!

We really appreciated the welcome of Renzo and the attention he gave us throughout our stay. We liked the quiet location and the atmosphere of La Casona Azul. We also liked the wonderful breakfasts every morning. La Casona is like a home from home, so much more enjoyable than an impersonal international hotel.We felt we were really in Peru.

If I had to say one thing, it would be that there was some light that came into my room from the hallway during the night when other travelers were walking around. Nothing that an eye mask couldn’t fix though.

Everything was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and clean. I opted for a smaller room but no amenities were spared. It felt like there was a lot of attention put into the details with the inclusion of things like a cushioned back rest and tray table (which I happily put to use while I was feeling unwell). I loved watching the birds fly in and out of the flowers on the front patio. The staff were very kind and attentive, always ready to offer a dining suggestions and even made some tea for my troubled stomach. I always felt very safe which I put at top priority as a solo female traveler. I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer!

Well cared for, cute property. Excellent host and fantastic breakfast! Offered free bike & luggage storage. Very helpful staff, good location. My room had good wifi signal. Lovely rooftop area

The owners were really friendly and helpful - couldn't have asked for a better place to start my Peru trip, they really helped me make sense of everything. The place was clean and I appreciated the full kitchen with a water purifier - no need to buy water, purified from the tap was perfectly fine.

So happy we found this place! Staff was super helpful with both practical arrangements like airport transportation and with great recommendations for what to do (and eat!) in Lima. That really contributed to making our time in Lima as great as it was! The location is great and rooms are nice. On top of it all, they serve the yummiest breakfast at the rooftop in the morning!

I loved the decorations and layout of the property. It was very charming and cozy. There were lots of places to relax outside of the room as well. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so sweet and made you feel welcome and helped navigate the trip. Thank you everyone!

I have had by far the best stay in any hostel or hotel. Lorenzo the host offered me so much information. I got lucky because Lorenzo showed me around markets and barrios I would not have gone by myself. Incredibly hospitable. In addition amazing breakfast, clean room and a perfect location. The house is beautiful too.
