The host family is incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast is sufficient, balanced and delicious. The hostel has plenty of space (courtyard, terrace). The hosts offer to hoard the luggage during a multi-day hike.

The rooms are really comfortable and the little garden and terrace were beautiful! The owners are super kind and helpful. They give you information about hiking in the colca canyon and you can leave your bags there while doing so. They also offer a condor watching tour which we can highly recommend :)

The bed was a bit hard. The music from the street outside travelled into my room a bit. The Wi-Fi didn’t reach my room.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious! The location was perfect. The terrace was so beautiful.

We were really sad that we couldn't stay here longer - the Hostel has a great garden and roof terrace, a very nice hot shower...and the most important thing: the people are unbelievably nice and helpful with everything, even a day later when we returned from our hike! We would definitly come again.

The breakfast served was really good (scrambled eggs, marmalade, butter, bread rolls, tea, coffe, juice and bananas) and the owner was very lovely and helpful, we felt really at home there

Nice little hotel in the center of Cabanaconde. The rooms view over the internal courtyard so it's very quiet and secure. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds and good bathroom. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and always there to help you for your daytrips or transportation. Breakfast is very good.

Nice location and nice room with bathroom! Very comfy bed and pillows Had everything needed for the short stay in Cabanaconde! Very friendly and helpful owner, took us to Cruz del Condor (for a fee) to watch the Condors. Explained and helped us organising the trekking in the canyon! Breakfast ok!

We loved both of our stays at Las Palmeras (once before hiking in the Colca Canyon and again after the hike). The family and staff are so kind and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags whilst we hiked, gave us helpful information on transport and supplied us with coffee and hot water. The breakfast is delicious, the garden space and rooftop area is a haven to relax in and the rooms (with towels supplied) are clean, spacious and comfortable.

I think some small lights next to the bed in the room would be a good improvement. Probably also would be a good idea to upgrade the internet a little.

We liked our choice of this hostel. Manfred gave us very good advice about the trail, kindly lent us some trekking poles and in general was really helpful. Our room was basic but clean. Breakfast on the terrace was pleasant and filling. Meanwhile, Gladys was always on hand too to help with everything, and helped us book a private taxi to the condor viewing point. Very nice people, though it certainly helps if one of you speaks Spanish!

Loved this hostel! So homely and gorgeous. Manfred made us feel welcome straight away and was so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. He organised for us to see the condors before our trek into the colca canyon and was helpful with our bus to Puno. The breakfast was delicious also! 💛

Our host Manfred was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and very spacious for this price category. The bathroom was the best we have had so far in Peru. Breakfast was also very good. We were able to leave our luggage in the hostel while we were hiking in the canyon and when we got back, Manfred even offered us tea. Would definitely recommend!

The beds and pillows were amazing. Manfred the host was very helpful with everything. He even took us to the Condor viewpoint early in the morning before the crowds. He also gave useful information for our hike in the Colca Canyon and we could leave our bags here for a few days. We highly recommend staying here!

Great accommodation with a very nice garden. The rooms were clean, comfy and had a nice warm shower! Also the host is very friendly and prepared a very nice breakfast. He arranged a taxi for us (and 2 other people staying in the hostel) to the condor viewpoint. It was also possible to leave our backpacks for 2 nights when we were hiking in the colca canyon. And we could take a shower after pickup or bags and before leaving cabanaconde! So highly recommend this hostel when staying in cabanaconde!

Little paradise with a beautifil garden. Quiet for sleeping. Room was clean and the shower was hot. Great host and familie. Breakfast was delicouis with fresh fruit
