Great location right on the beach, however it is 15min walk from the restaurants etc, and is unsafe to walk the town at night.

Staff were great and very helpful. Room and facilities were basic, but had hot water and a fan, as well as a super helpful kitchens basics store in the shared kitchen.

The perfect place to calm down and to regenerate! Robert and Yuli are wonderful hosts, always there for a nice chat and if there is anything needed they are there to help you and to let you know where you find great places and what to do :) The beach sector Playa del Amor is really relaxed and you can enjoy some quiet time wich isn't that easy Máncora... At Roberts place there is no music going on and at 10pm everything is quiet, so perfect to listen to the ocean and it's waves :) Aussi is just a wonderful and funny dog, he gives you always a smile on the face and the cats are just sweet! The Bed was really comfortable! And to have a kitchen was perfect for me as well 😉 What else, I will come back one Day!

It was very hot. It would be nice to have air conditioning during the night.

It was right on the beach. You could hear the waves all night. We had kitchen to use (stove, fridge, dishes) and it was great for breakfast.

We had the most AMAZING stay at the Mancora Beach House!! From the moment we arrived Robert and his family were extremely welcoming and friendly! It was just perfect !! The location is just stunning, right on the beach which provides the most amazing sunsets ever (which you can watch from the cool terrace) and also a bit outside of town which means you have a quiet and tranquil beach to relax on!!! It only takes about a 10-15 mins lovely stroll along the beach to reach the centre of town too but we loved our location and hardly ventured away!! WE COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MORE !! Thank you Robert for the most beautiful 5 days !! 🤩🥹

Not really much space to unpack your things (not much room for clothes)

Great location right on the beach. A few restaurants in walking distance or others a short tuk tuk ride away. Fabulous hosts! Very nice terrace to enjoy breakfasts, the views and especially the gorgeous sunsets. Rooms are basic but that is not where you spend your time anyway. Kitchen available for cooking. Walking distance to surfing schools.

The only thing we could complain about is the heat! It is so hot in Mancora and sometimes the one fan doesn’t cut it maybe for the hotter periods providing an extra fan in the double rooms

The location of this place was so beautiful!! On the beach further up from the loud busy main beach, we loved sitting out on the porch with a beer watching the sun set or waking up on a morning and the nice relaxing beach right there on your doorstep. The staff were also so so lovely always happy to help we also stayed here for Christmas and the owner bought me and my sister a present I honestly nearly cried sooo cute! If we are ever in Mancora again we would 100% return

Our stay here has honestly been a highlight of our trip! It's a really peaceful location, right on the beach tucked away from the other hostels etc nearby. The host, Robert, was really friendly & helped us by organising a taxi to the airport at a good price. Waking up to the sound of the waves was bliss. Great breakfast options. We loved being able to borrow the boogy board & snorkel masks, and this section of the beach was really clean. Nothing can beat watching the sunset from the terrace with a beer! Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance, but also a well-equipped kitchen. We were staying mid-week so didn't notice any noise from nearby hostels partying. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Mancora - we could've stayed for weeks!

Small ants in the room, however they are all over mancora and were not a real issue.

Nice host, terrace was a great place to relax, kitchen had all cooking utensils needed to make a basic meal. The only drawback was the location is a bit far from town, you can only walk along the beach during low tide. There were always tuk tuks available outside the front doors, as well as a few restaurants if you did not want to make the trip to the town.

There was a bit of a sewage smell in my room that I eventually got used to. Also the first night I arrived there was a big cockroach on the headboard of my bed. I told Robert the next morning and he kindly checked all inches of my bed for it but didn’t find it so I was afraid of seeing it again the rest of my stay. Location is fine because everything is very accessible but just keep in mind it’s a 20 min walk from Mancora Beach and 20 min tuk tuk from Las Pocitas so you have to travel to get to the popular areas. I would stay again if I could be guaranteed there are no cockroaches in my room!

Great staff, Robert (Venezuelan) and his wife are so nice and friendly. Super responsive. Love the terrace, vast view of the ocean. The beach is quiet and rarely populated. Nice breakfast prepared by Robert’s wife. You get to meet other travelers thru the terrace. I really liked the store onsite with essentials like water, toothpaste, shampoo, pantry items - it made things so much more convenient. Mosquito net in bedroom was lifesaver. Good hot shower. Very clean room and comfy bed. Excellent wifi and even a small office for remote work! Came in so handy when I had a day of work calls.

At dawn there were lots of mosquitos but we managed this problem successfully with repellent. In the rooms there were good mosquito nets.

We felt very comfortable here. The owner of this hostel ist very open minded and friendly. He gave us good advices and always was in a relaxed, cheerful mood. Also his wife and an employé were friendly the whole day. When there was a technical problem, the owner fixed it right away. We could cook, whenever we wanted to and eat in the beautiful terrace at the very sea front. We definitely would love to come back here again. The kitchen ist well equiped including a blender, an oven and a microwave. The hostel offers basic groceries for a fair price. The IKO kite surf school is 50 m away. (Wildkite ist also a recommendation).

There was a slight smell coming from the back of the property that came into our room but it wouldn’t put us off coming back again at all!

The location right on the beach is amazing! The kitchen was really good and had everything we needed including a little shop we could buy ingredients from! The bar was great value for money and you can enjoy a drink at sunset. Staff were so friendly.

The hotel is located at Playa El Amor. Playa El Amor is quiet and beautiful, not too crowded. Furthermore, the hotel is located in front of the beach.

We had a great stay in the hostel, the room was nice and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped, and cleaned continuously during the day. The staff is super kind and helpfull. And then there’s the location, the terrace is right at the beach so you can enjoy the sunset from there. And if you’re staying here during the right season you can see whales from the terrace!! We saw them twice during our 4 day stay!

The shared terrace is amazing, a great place to relax. Robert and German were so helpful and friendly. We arrived at 5am and Robert was still friendly! The first night there were lots of crickets in our room and German advised us how to get rid of them. We went to two nearby restaurants, the Sicilian and Kibi, which were great. We also used the shared kitchen which is very helpful. The location is great as Playa Amor is much quieter than the centre of Mancora, but you can walk down the beach to the centre most of the day.

Robert has something really special here- we ended up extending our stay. This isn’t luxury but everything is done very well- comfy beds, very clean, good kitchen. The best thing about mancora beach house is the atmosphere and vibe Robert and his team create, but having a little shop for guests that sells everything at local prices it’s the perfect atmosphere for a sunset beer. I would 100% recommend- we loved it!
