it seems like the neighbourhood garbage gets piled on the sidewalk across the street-not the best view from the rooms facing forward.

We chose to stay here because we were using Marvelous Peru as our trekking company the following day. It worked to our advantage being able to ask questions and pack at the same time. The location was about a 10min walk near the town square. Loved the rooftop patio-and second staircase led up to a second patio where you can hang up your clothes to dry.

The terrace has an increidible view of the Plaza de Armas, it's a great room to work on your computer as the wifi is good. My dorm room was clean, and the temperature was alright as well, I loved my room because it was really dark and you could get really good sleep. It's a great value for the money.

You need to be ready for a few things. As everywhere in Cusco there is no heating but there is the possibility of renting a heater for 10 soles per day (2.5 US dollars). Temperatures at night will be around 0 degrees Celsius. It would also be good to place at least a few hangers on the door so that things can be hung in the room and in the bathroom. At night, light comes from the hallway because there is glass above the front door. Also in the evening it can be noisy because the music comes from the restaurant from the terrace, but it wasn’t every night so there was nothing that would bother me.

Very comfortable and new place. The hotel is essentially newly built so everything inside is new. They have a great terrace where there is a cafe and a great view of Cusco. The food is great, especially fruit salad for every recommendation. All the staff working at the hotel are very kind and willing to help and that is what gives that hotel a high rating. They even provided us with oxygen in the bottle for free due to difficulties in acclimatization.

It was cold at night (like everywhere in Cusco!)

Great location, WiFi strong enough for video conferencing, hot shower, very welcoming staff. Terrace has an amazing view over the city. Overall, great value for this price.

The toilet in our room didn’t have a seat. The ceiling in bathroom was covered with black mold. You have to ask for towels and toilet paper, they don’t just give it to you. The kitchen was poorly equipped and the fridge very dirty. When I asked for cleaning, the lady was surprised and didn’t do anything about it. The bed was very used and grooved, so my back hurt after 3 night.

The place is good enough if you’re looking for low cost option and just staying there just for night between other adventures. The room was spacious and clean. The terrace is fine to eat or have a workout.

Major downsides to getting a cheap room- Black mould in the bathroom which meant we didn't want to use the shower (I told the owner who apologised but didn't seem surprised) Mattress was super springy so not comfortable to sleep on

The acoustics make it horrible, every little noise is heard throughout the hostel. It was HORRRIBLY HORRIBLY LOUD. People were running and shouting at 6am, and the acoustics made it DEAFENING. I asked them to be quieter, because it was 6.05am, and they literally laughed in my face. The reception must have been hearing all the noise and did nothing.

There was a nice tarrace, but not too clean. The room was ok.
