United States1 reviewVery goodThe location. It’s far away from everything which is nice if you want some peace and quiet but it sucks because there is nothing around to eat or do.
Hotel staff were FANTASTIC. They were very helpful to deal with our busy schedule. The restaurant and breakfast food is homemade and fresh from the markets in town. The AC in the rooms was a blessing.

Peru1 review“Nice , quiet , pampered by the staff , specially Jose at the front desk”Though the staff was wonderful , they need more training from owners . Like being quicker serving breakfast , they used the same gloves to serve the food and didn’t change to touch furniture or elevator . Simple details . But they did their best .
The staff was exceptionally attentive . Quiet, close to the airport .

Brazil31 reviews8 helpful votes“It’s a nice place, but my timing was terrible.”The huge family also made the pool and jacuzzi very dirty, so I wasn’t even able to enjoy the pool or tub the next morning because the water looked so cloudy and hadn’t been treated the evening prior or early that morning. It’s upsetting to pay so much more to be able to have these kinds of amenities and then not be able to use them because there is a huge group taking everything over and then leaving everything dirty. Overall, I was pretty bummed and feel like I should receive a partial refund.
I would have loved the rooftop pool and jacuzzi if there wasn’t a huge family that took the whole place over and didn’t even leave on chair or lounge chair available, much less space in the jacuzzi tub.

United States4 reviews“Nice facilities, lack of restaurant (it was closed) disappointed.”Despite there being considerable reference to the restaurant in the listing, during our stay it was closed all but one day we were there. The staff were not able to explain why, but after long days of seeing the sights, one had to take a motor taxi back to town for dinner. One night they were able cook us dinner, but we had to give advanced notice so that the food could be purchased. We were very disappointed in this as the restaurant and bar were reasons we chose the property. The hotel is not far from the Plaza de Morales by motor taxi, but there isn’t a great selection of eateries there. The central plaza of Tarapoto is somewhat further and can be a scary motor taxi ride at night. There is a bit more selection there.
Room was of a good size with spacious bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Nice simple breakfast.
