Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Kingdomwalls are paper thin. I heard someone at 4am running up the stairs and then people at 7am talking outside our room. I could also hear reception as the windows are single glazed. also a dog non stop barking. we arrived here after hiking Machu Picchu for four days so we hadn’t showered until the morning. no hot water in the morning. told the receptionist who said wait 10 minutes, after 10 mins water was still cold. was then told to wait 20 mins …. 2 hours later water is still cold. I then asked for money back as we had waited until 1pm, I was offered 80 soles however they did not give it to us, when we asked for the money the receptionist laughed and said no 25 soles. Booking.com was no help, me and my partner left the hostel and I demanded for a full refund which I received after 3 times asking. this place is not worth the money
close to main square. had a kettle and a fridge (I had to ask for a microwave and toaster but only a microwave was given).

Canada-Location is great, but there is A LOT of noise ALL DAY AND NIGHT. The rooms are not soundproof, staff make a lot of noise form 7 am, there seems to be a club nearby as we heard screams and fights all nights. -Lobby is disgusting, receptionist said it was only one roll of toilet paper for the stay and we were 3! -When we arrived the lights in the bathroom did not work - When they clean, they will NOT change your sheets -Payment machine didnt work when we tried to pay -No heater in apartment with two bedrooms, we were very cold -It is tooooo expensive for what it is.
-Location is good: Two blocks from Plaza de Armas, pharmacy right down stairs -Beds are comfortable -Rooms are modern/new

Australiathere’s an area of the rooms that it’s new and the installations are not done in the best way, would recommend to improve them to make the stay more comfortable for example the glass for the sliding doors it’s so thin that the noise penetrates the room at all times making very hard to get some peace inside the room

PeruFirst, the toilet was not stable, a lot of noise for Giovana the repcionist (she shouted) and I couldnt sleep, then the noise for the carpenter because they continue fixing things.
I liked the infrastructure (only the room), the attention by Lisbeth and Carmen. The room was clean and the location.

United StatesThe only bad thing was that our travel plans didn't permit a longer stay. Absolutely nothing bad to say. Very relaxing and cozy.
Everything - from the communication, to the assistance with taxis, to the room - everthing was top notch. This is a little of oasis of rest and relaxation. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The beds were very comfortable.
