Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI did not like the lack of a drop coffee, but Instant coffee seems to be the go to in most hotels/hostels. That is a personal dislike and did not affect how I felt about the location.
The breakfast was wonderful. You can ask the owners to chef some Eggs. The bread has a nice panini toaster and are soft and fresh. Jam is delicious along with bananas and Instant coffee. The necessities

The hotel is well located just a short walk from the train station. It is very quiet with no noise during the night. There is a lift at the hotel. The room was relatively small but had everything you needed and was very clean as was the bathroom. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We paid extra to keep the room on for an extra 3 hours whilst waiting for the train. Didn't try the breakfast as we left too early for our visit to Mach Picchu.

Lovely beds, location was good once we found it, wasted an hour trying to find it, after a 10k trek from Hidroelectrica, so that was annoying. Unfortunately it was the one street name that wasn't marked clearly. We were only here for one night, breakfast in the dark sadly as we had an early start at MP. We were delighted to find lifts in this building, and it's all nice & modern.

Great location with easy access to train station. Hotel seems newly renovated, or it not, it's been well maintained. Walking into the lobby it was nicer than I expected. Always a pleasant surprise!
