It's home away from home! A beautiful and cosy, artsy and safe place to stay in Lima. The host is very warm, intelligent and knowledgeable, and makes the stay a very lovely experience! The neighbourhood is safe, and the house is a walking distance away from the love park, from the airport bus stop, restaurants and the information centre. The room itself is spacious, clean and of course the little jungle garden where you can rest :)

We had a brilliant time and Luis could not have done more to make us feel completely at home. His recommendations for places to visit and eat at were spot on and the location is great - we made the most of it with cliff view sunsets, Huaca Pucllana, Barranco and central Lima.

Luis the owner was immensely helpful and kind. He helped us sort out travel plans and stayed in touch throughout our trip. For anyone arriving new to the country he provides great reassurance.

Can only echo the other reviews in here, but highly recommend staying at Luiz place. We’ve been to many home stays and the hospitality and attentiveness of Luiz is beyond. He helped us organise our further trip and showed us around town. Also great location, comfortable room.

The location is great, the inside court with a hamac and lot of plants and the availability of the hosts! Incredible! Always available to help you and give you the best tips and advices about the city, the best places to eat etc. We even got a bike tour in town with Luis!

Great host, very nice historical building with touch of Cuban flair in the heart of Miraflores. Great base location to explore different parts of the city. Perfect bus connection to the airport, to downdown Lima, Barranco and local food and artisan markets. Spacious room with storage space, shared bathroom, tiny jungle patio, hammock. Luis has been so welcoming, helped us with our plans and was a lovely host - gracias!

Luis was a wonderful host, we stayed for 3 nights straight from the UK. He helped us change money and lent us some Soles on the first day we were there as it was a Sunday and exchanges weren't open. We then went out for an amazing lunch with him in a local market where he asked the cook to make us a range of local dishes (which weren't on any menu!). Overall a great stay, very convenient location in Miraflores and comfy room - definitely recommend

Nothing, it was perfect!

Perfectly located in the heart of Miraflores, this Quinta has loads of character and the host, Luis, was incredibly generous with his home and his time - personally showing us around some his favourite spots in Lima that we would not have discovered without him. Luis is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the history and culture of his country, and made many suggestions for places we should visit during the rest of our time in Peru. An absolutely brilliant experience overall!

Quinta is newly operating on booking.com and we're very glad we took a chance on the place. The hosts, Lucho and Alvaro were lovely and always willing to help. This place is great value and is very well located, within walking distance of everything in Miraflores. The coffee and chocolates were a nice touch also. Wishing you guys all the best with Quinta.

A bit dishonest. The owner calls his place the same as a highly recommended LonelyPlanet guesthouse (which we thought we were booking at a significant discount.) He purposefully doesn’t put it on Gmaps. The owner of the other Quinta Miraflores is rightfully aggravated by the repeated confusion, having guests like us arrive at her guesthouse over and over saying they have a reservation. When we talked to the owner here, he never apologized, never acknowledged that this was a regular occurrence, he just smiled. This is a room in his house, the “garden view” is a tiny inner-courtyard with a washing machine & some potted plants, the washroom is shared with the host. It’s good, but the room has no air circulation. It was humid and very hot and while our host had a large portable fan blazing in his room, he never offered us one so we sweated all night. Honestly, if it was advertised as it really is, without the deception and 10-20soles cheaper, it would probably sell the same. Again, it’s fine. Not a bad place to stay in Lima. Just a bit dishonest. We ended up moving to another place.
