The shower was not sufficiently hot. I thought a check-out time of 9am was an indication that guests are not their top priority.

Esmeralda the manager speaks good English and was helpful when I arrived. The single room was small but clean and comfortable. They allowed me to leave my bag while I visited MP.

A single room is very small and a bit dark (with windows to the corridor) but for one night it's not a big thing.

Beds and especially the pillows were very uncomfortable. Also, you shouldn't expect much from the breakfast

The location is great, Esmeralda helped us a lot and answered every question and doubt we had regarding our Machu Picchu trip. She even drew a little plan of Machu Picchu to explain the route we should take. Gave us the idea that we can walk down the mountain, which we did and liked a lot! The WiFi connection was good in the room.

First off, Mrs. Esmeralda the owner was great to us! Came and picked us up (walking since there are no motor transportation in Aguas Calientes). Location of her hotel was excelent! Just a 3 min walk from the trainstation, many restaurants to chose from, the main market, supermaketet, cafes all at a few min walk. The rooms, we booked 3 rooms. Beds confortable, great shower with hotwater offcourse. Breakfast was basic but tastefull! All you need to get your day started. Bus tix to Machu Pichhu (not the entrance itself but only the bustickets), was a few min walk.

WiFi was a bit slow sometimes - but it is not a big problem

Clean and comfortable. Close to the train station and where you get the bus to Machu Pichu. Esmeralda who runs the place is awesome. She was a very helpful guide, offered to collect from the station and let us stay a bit past check out time which was greatly appreciated.

1. As others review, I was asked for 3.8$ commission which other two hotels I stayed in Peru didn’t charge me. In the confirmation email, it is written the tax is “only for Peruvian. I feel deceived and have to warn everyone here. So the price is not correct. 2. They charge you additional 5% for credit card payment which isn’t written anywhere 3. It was super noisy even after 2am because of karaoke in the neighborhood. I couldn’t sleep well.

The staff were excellent, very kind and helpful. The owner is a former Machu Picchu guide, so she was very knowledgeable and helpful. They were just really friendly and kind. The staff were by far the best part of a great stay. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable.

Great help from the owner. Totally customer oriented to help in every way possible. Met me at the train station. Made sure all my paper work for my visit to Machu Picchu was in order. Suggested places to eat. Comfortable rooms. Only a 2 minute walk from the train station.

The host is very nice. She come to pick us up right outside of the station exit and draw a map to introduce the whole town to us. In the morning, they prepare the breakfast just before our departure. And we are allowed to keep our baggage at the counter so that it could be more easier for our visit. Thanks to the warm-hearted host, we have a smooth and safe trip. And the room is also good, we had a nice sleep to save enough energy.
