Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomEverything was great - bathrooms relatively small but nice hot shower and they provide shampoo conditioner and soap. No sunny outdoor space but they do have a little indoor central courtyard.
Gorgeous rooms - comfy beds, spacious rooms with seating. Lovely breakfast. Very close to the main plaza but not noisy. We loved it and would highly recommend. The b&b kept our luggage while we did the Inca trek and it was a haven to return to afterwards!

United StatesStairs! Cusco is at an elevation and there are no elevators and that was a problem since climbing steep stairs was really tough without getting first acclimatized
Quiet place with good privacy

AustraliaNothing!
A beautiful view out over Cusco city, far away from the centre that you don’t get too much noise but still close enough to walk to the main plaza in under 5 minutes. They were super welcoming and provided us with coca tea when we arrived and were feeling the effects of the altitude! Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

NetherlandsBreakfast will be better if you can add yogurt and granola. And may be coffee could be a bit stronger. In the room with inner-garden view there is a small light in the inner window at night — so you should have mask or may be ask to switch off the lights. We managed it with the masks for sleep.
We loved our stay here! Everything is thought out for your comfort. Many layers of blankets and pillows. Good beds. Hot water. Cozy rooms. (We stayed on night in the stunning city view room and 4 nights in another room, but both were very nice) We asked for bath mat cause there was a bit cold floor in bathroom, and they gave us one) Guys from reception gave us tea in beautiful pots every evening (cocca, muna, camomile) and it was do free). Relaxing atmosphere. Real home

SingaporeLoved the location - just a short walk from the main square but at a quiet street. The staff are really nice and opens and closes the door for you if you need 24/7. When we first arrived, they served us some koka tea. They have a nice lookout point from their top floor too. I liked the cleanliness and coziness of the place, plus the cobblestone architecture, including the portable heater in the room which helped with the cold. The staff are really friendly, made us good breakfast and answered all our questions.

AustraliaThe steps to get up to the top were difficult with our humungous luggage but staff offered to help anyway
this was such a cute and beautiful B&B. The views were breathtaking, the breakfast was convenient (we love coffee!). I loved the painted, plastered walls, the wood frame windows and the antique furniture. Feels newly done. Beautiful style.

ItalyStayed here for 2 nights. Big room and very comfortable beds. Good sized bathroom. Breakfast was great, we got tea/coffee, fresh orange juice, a fresh fruit bowl, bread, butter/jam and they made eggs. Staff was very attentive. Got to leave our bags for a whole other day while doing a tour and got to use their facilities afterwards to get ready. 5 min walk from the main square.

BelgiumThe tap water was interrupted a few times, however the staff did everything they could do to solve it.
The lady - I don’t have her name - made us feel welcome and home. Her English and my Spanish are not good, however we managed to communicate. All my good points go to her. I appreciated the simple but nice breakfast with fresh juice and fruit. The balcony on the top floor is really nice.

United KingdomThe property is in such a good location - right around the corner from the main square in Cusco. The property itself has so much character and our room was so beautiful - large, cosy and comfortable. We felt really at home here. The staff were also really helpful and offered us tea on arrival to get over the altitude sickness. Would highly recommend this property.

United StatesNo hairdryer in the room, although there may have been one available (I didn't ask). This is not the fault of the B&B, but about a block away, the street to the plaza becomes unpleasant: lots of people approaching you to go into the bars, and the street is full of beer caps and smells of urine.
Even with the city view room, it was very quiet - much more so than our previous hotel in San Blas neighborhood. We stayed on a Wednesday night, so that might make a difference in how quiet it was, but it's not right next to the bars. Large, comfortable room. Hot tea offered upon arrival. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and there was an extra blanket and a heater, although we didn't need them. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Hosts were all very kind. Tasteful decorations. TV with streaming service. Nice toiletries, including conditioner, which I appreciate. It's a peaceful place. We were very pleased. Would definitely stay there again.
