Very spacious flat, well equipped, nicely located - just a five minute walk from all the main attractions of the city. Washington and his team are very welcoming and helpful. Assisted us with all the question we had - even parked our car free of charge for two nights. Definitely recommend

Perfect place and location for 5 of us to enjoy a few nights in Cusco before doing the Inca trail. Washington is so helpful, recommended a great restaurant and supermarket and very grateful to him for storing our luggage while we were away. Beds were so comfortable! Thank you, it was a great start to our Peru experience.

The noise. There was a neighbor lady, not inside the Samaná house, who was screaming, fighting and arguing all the time. At least three times around 7am. And barking dogs!!!

This review is for the apartment on the first floor. As we noticed other apartments in the upper floors. The apartment is located on Pantaq calle, Which is a little cobbled inclined street off the main drag Recoleta. Recoleta is a narrow cobbled street that can be hard to walk on at times because the sidewalks are only a foot wide on both sides of the street. And cars literally drive by only a couple of inches away from you. This may be another consideration if you have small children with you. The beds were incredibly comfortable and super clean. Also plenty of warm blankets. Truly some of the most comfortable beds we have experienced anywhere in the world. Washington, the owner was super nice and attentive to all of our needs. He is very fluent in english and has a wealth of information for the area. He even showed us where to get a great meal. The apartment is a good five blocks from the main plaza so if the height affects you that may be another consideration. For us everything was within walking distance between a 3 to 10 minute walk. On the main street Recoleta, There are two bodegas, two laundry services, tour operators, a great pizzeria, two bakeries, four restaurants and drug Store San Gregorio all within 400 feet of apartments. Overall, a comfortable and very secure apartment.

Make yourself a favor and book this place. Great facilities for a group of six friends (3 couples). The owner and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed us to do an early check-in 10 minutes after a last-minute booking. They helped us with our laundry and storage while away for a hikking trip. The owner is just extremely nice and helpful, strongly recommend!

Location is excellent, walking distance to everything you need, Plaza Del Arms and yet in a quiet street at night. Washington is an excellent host with great communication and assistance with anything you need - laundry, money exchange, personal driver for tours, best tickets, pharmacy. etc. So very helpful. Great hot water and the most co.fortable beds after a long day of walking.

No soap. Not a big issue but would have been nice to have soap provided in both bathrooms.

Samana House is in an excellent location to Plaza Del Arms in a quiet street. It has a great view from one of the bedrooms and speaking of bedrooms - the beds are extremely comfortable. We had no issues with hot water or pressure. Washington the host is fantastic. Nothing is an issue, helped organise laundry service, personal driver for 3 days to go and see Sacred Valley, Salt Mines, city sites and southern Valley and get antibiotics one night! We had a 5 day Trek in between our stays and Washington stored our luggage for us while we were gone. Highly recommend staying here.

The apartment doesn’t have heat, but Washington got us some space heaters.

Our family of four appreciated the spacious rooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was good for cooking. Washington was extremely helpful and quick to respond to questions. He helped us carry up our bags and then allowed us to store our bags when we went away for two days. Upon return, he met with us so we could get our bags and even carried some of our bags for us to our new hotel (Samana house was already booked for these dates).

The cost and location were perfect for all our trips, including being able to stay cost effectively during our Inca Trail 4 day trip. The beds were warm and had 4 blankets, including a Peruvian thick wool blanket. We liked having access to a kitchen to store our food and have tea and coffee in our apartment. Quiet location. So close to everything.

Hot water for showers was from 6am-10am. Which wasn't a problem but thought it was something to mention.

Washington was very quick at responding to any requests we had through WhatsApp. From getting us electric heaters for our rooms, to helping us set up transportation to and from the airport. The rooms were a good size and the kitchen had the essentials like fridge, utensils, microwave, and stove. The apartment is close to the city center and San blas neighborhood. We felt very safe walking to and from the apartment.

This is a great apartment for a family. Very well situated, close to everything in Cusco. The host is great and you get everything you need. Highly recommended for families or two couples or groups.

Heating was only available in the living room,but it was not enough for the bedrooms and bathrooms. For the duration of our stay there was no water at all during the early morning hours. So people could not go at the toilet! The time was usually between 2-4:30am, but in Cusco most of the important tours start very early, so this was very inconvenient for us. However our host informed us thatcthere was a problem in the area, and potentially they were turning off the water at those certain hours.

In the first apartment (3 nights) was really below standard: no kitchen supplies (like a cutting board), glasses etc were not clean, bedsheets had spots, mold in the bathrooms (1 of the 2 so bad that it really smelled bad and it’s unhealthy to be). Extremely noisy

We stay in apartment on same level as is entrance so whoever was coming to the building during the night, than its very noise inside. Toilets are small and mold in one of them.

The owner was very helpful with everything. Washington that his name was polite all the time and answer all questions about money exchange, atm, locations. Location of the apartment is located vey close to main plaza and easy to rich by foot. Lots of shops and laundry services around plus nice few restaurants.

The internet worked only sometimes, so made it hard to organise and plan things in and around Cusco. Facilities in kitchen were very basic.

The beds were very comfortable. Washington was friendly and helpful.

Did not have much toilet paper, bathroom floor slippery and the bathroom had a musty smell. Also the couches were not comfortable at all.
