The food was amazing!!! They had 5 options for dinner (also veggie) with a soup as a starter and dessert. The breakfast with self made pancakes and fresh orange juice and egg was really good. The pool was clean, the showers warm, the bed comfortable. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes the best Pisco sours!

By far the best accommodation in Sangalle Great hospitality and very nice location Super dinner and even better breakfast (banana crepes!). Also very early at 5am (which is not the case with others) and also to go! Then you go up the mountain much faster! Very fast W-LAN, electricity and hot water Ronaldo and his wife gave us an unforgettable stay Tip: Stay two nights!

Property really close to the start of the hike to Cabanaconde. Lovely pool, really nice dinner and Ronaldo even brought out a cake for my friends birthday at breakfast! Super kind. Most comfortable sleep we’ve had in months - tired legs after the hike really appreciate the quilts and duvets provided!

Honestly there is nothing I can complain about it!!

The property is nice located with a huge pool and cozy couches around, so a perfect place to relax and chill after a long hike in Colca Canyon! The rooms are simple but totally enough, you get towels and soap.

The bedrooms are quite basic, probably good to have a mosquito net.

The pool is a bliss, it has fresh spring water of 18 degrees all year round. The dinner and breakfast are really delicious, vegetarian options available too. Staff is great, very friendly and accommodative (they brought us a complementary pisco sour). Location is right at the foot of the hike to Cabanaconde, and the Sangalle Oasis is really beautiful to spend a night. Ronaldo and Natalia have taken this property since it was in pretty bad shape after the pandemic. They refurbished everything themselves and made it very lovely yet yet still quite basic. They plan to make an eco friendly resort, install solar panels and have a community garden, so it’s a special project you’d be supporting by staying here!

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They even welcomed us with pisco sour and served us delicious dinner. At 5 in the morning they got up to make us incredible breakfast. Truly felt like a honeymoon. I 100% recommend this place, thanks again

Awesome place at the oasis. Sparkling clean room, comfy bed, hot water shower and amazing food was all we needed at the end of the hike. Hosts were extremely nice. Very nice location - the pathway up starts there.

The lodges are very nicely located in Sangalle and the beds are comfortable. The pool was a great way to cool off after the long and strenuous descent. Rynaldo is an extremely friendly and obliging host. The dinner was the highlight. We had a three-course menu and nothing was left to be desired. Breakfast gave us the energy we needed for the ascent the next day.

What an incredible experience! What makes this place even more special than the breathtaking location is Ronaldo and his wife, who go above and beyond to cater for their guests. Lunch and dinner options are delicious and include three courses (25 soles for Lomo Saltado, including Quinoa soup to start and a fruit jelly desert). Ronaldo brought everyone a strong complimentary cocktail. Whilst the room itself is basic, it’s clean and cosy. Ronaldo and his wife are kind enough to offer a takeaway breakfast and wake early to make sure this is ready by 4:45am if requested. Our stay was magical - highly recommend for those trekking Colca Canyon. Thank you 🙏🏻

This place is awesome... they have a really nice pool- and chilling area with great WIFI (we couldn't believe it in this location!) and the staff is so incredibly nice...we got the best breakfast of our whole trip (as take away so we could leave earlier) before 5 o'clock in the morning!

Sangalle Cielo Lodge is the perfect place to spend the night relaxing after a long hike. The owners did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable, there were bottles of water on our beds awaiting us and delicious freshly cooked food. The place itself is stunning, surrounded by flowers and amazing views as well as a swimming pool to cool off in. Without a doubt one of the best hostels we’ve stayed in during our time in Peru.

We had a wonderful stay here. The owners are the kindest, most welcoming people. They are available at any hour, even willing to prepare the breakfast at 5 AM. They made us welcoming pisco sours and a lovely dinner and delicious breakfast. The rooms and pool are very comfortable! Please consider staying here.
