WiFi not great on top floor

Lovely staff, we were given a choice of rooms and the room on the top floor was great with plenty of space and views of the river. Great location in between the station and main plaza. Breakfast was basic but decent

Beautiful location with the sound of the river calming you. Comfy beds and a good shower with views of the valley from the rooms and rooftop. Simple breakfast offering but does the job, would stay here again.

It is very noisy for a light sleeper - being just by the river, although the view from the window with the river was beautiful, because we were in the rainy season, the river ran very strong and it made a lot of noise. The furniture needs some upgrades, it showed wear and tear. But, overall, good value for money. It was one of the cheapest hotels with breakfast included that we got in the 2 weeks of traveling around Peru.

The hotel is super close to the train station, 5 minutes away. So, if you choose to leave from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu early in the morning, it is a very good option. They also provide a frugal breakfast to go early in the morning. The shower was great, good pressure & hot water. The room was clean & offered all we needed for 1 night.

The washroom had a bit of a smell

They were very friendly and accommodating towards us. They were flexible with breakfast times and always made freshly cooked eggs, freshly squeezed or blended juices, and provided bread, coffee, and tea to go with our meal. They even packed us a breakfast to go when we had to leave at 6am for one of the mornings. There's even a place on the rooftop balcony to wash and dry your clothes!

The rooms are really simple, don't look for luxury if you come here. The Breakfast was pretty poor: bread with butter and jam, coffee, fruit and 1 egg.

It is the perfect spot where to spend 1 or 2 nights if you are visiting the area or going to Machu Picchu. The Value/Price ratio is super high. We paid a little price to have a room that included breakfast. The place is located between the city centre and the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect location between city center for evening pisco and railway station for early morning train to Aguas Calientes. Breakfast box very tasty. Possible to leave bigger bag at hostel.

I think the only biggest complaint I have is the water pressure in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was barely a trickle, the shower wasn't so powerful.

Staff were friendly. Location is good, arms length to the train station and the Plaza de Armas. The room was comfortable. We got a room that was facing the mountains and overlooking the little stream in the back of the property so it was pretty quiet. Staff gave us a packed lunch when they found out we would be leaving early for Machu Picchu.

Great place to stay near the train station. I left at 4.30am to get the first train to Machu Picchu and the staff were kind enough to give me a takeaway breakfast- that was a very nice touch. Rooms clean and very comfortable. I recommend this place!

It was noisy at night especially because our room faced the street and stairs hallway. People would come in and out of the property due to their early/late train rides to Machu Picchu. Had to ask for a new set of towels since they didn’t replaced them when they clean the room.

Love the staff, location, and property. About a 7-minute walk to the train station and 5-minutes from the main square. Property had good hot water pressure, and clean rooms. Provided a hair dryer and didn’t have an issue with us leaving on an early/late train ride.

The room and the bed were a bit too small for us. Will go for a bigger room next time, if available.

The location was perfect! Close to the train station, main square and the Incan ruins. Good and stable internet connection. Nice views over the mountains and the Incan site. The host was welcoming and warm.

I was corresponding with I believe the owner’s children through the messages who speak English (but never on property) about setting up tours & when I got there, no one was able to help me. It turns out anyways, most tours are from Cusco. There’s a kitchen but I’m confused if guests can use it at their own leisure, but wanted to store my fruits in the fridge at least & get hot water but one night an old man who seemed to be a security guard scared me as he followed me into the kitchen & watched me connect the microwave that he pushed me over to operate it as if I was going to break it but did not how to it work himself & did not leave me alone, for hot water. I just wanted to use the kettle to brew hot water but he didn’t let me. It would be nice if they put out a hot water canister for guests to use throughout the day. My room didn’t get clean or toilet paper refilled until I requested on the 3rd day. I wish they placed a bath towel for the floor after showers. Not everyday was I able to get hot showers, so I had to skip showers (but I didn’t ask for help).

Great location, in the middle between center plaza & to the train station. Owner upgraded my room from street view balcony to the Mountain View without extra charge. She made simple breakfast every morning even if I woke up late: fresh squeezed sweet orange juice, eggs as you like, fresh breads with butter & marmalade, and hot tea. Even at my request allowed me the cacao but with water as I like. Price is exceptional for the location. Not a hike to trek from old Inca town all the way down to train, right in the middle. Gorgeous view from rooftop. They allowed me to do my own small hand washed laundry to dry along with theirs. Desk & chair in every room with extra blankets. Hot showers.
