Loved our stay here. A bit more expensive than other hotels, but super large rooms with all the needed facilities. We came here after our trekking of 5 days and had the best room to relax and view the city of Cusco.

At one point during our stay, the hot water was out, but it was still warm enough to shower. The hotel is on a pedestrian street on the hill. Some people may find the walk to the hotel and the many stairs within the hotel problematic (no elevator). As we were hiking the Inca Trail, we considered this good training!

Was a fabulous find! Tariq Hotel is one of those rare little gems that meets and exceeds all my requirements. It is a small, intimate hotel with very personalized service, on a quiet pedestrian street in the old town area close to many restaurants, shopping, stores, laundry, and the main square. The room had fabulous views over the city and many windows to let in all the light. The local décor and photos complimented the comfy bed and sitting area. We had 5 nights in total here (3 before hiking the Inca Trail, and 2 after) and the staff went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met: airport transfers, luggage storage, post hike massages, and general assistance. The facility is beautiful with many sitting areas, endless tea and potable water, and the friendliest staff in all of Cusco! Thank you so very much for making our journey such a success! This is where I will stay any time I come to Cusco!

Need to walk up from city centre to reach ( although this is also what gives the amazing views). Some noise from an overhanging bar, but most of noise cut out when doors and windows closed.

We had a bedroom with the most awesome view. When we arrived the offered us hot tea which was awesome for those suffering alttitude sickness and stomach issues. Hot water bottles were offered at bedtime..What a luxury.

They never highlighted that they had heated floors! We discovered this after the 3rd day and it was a game changer!

it would be nice to pro activally send messages and book shuttles from the airport to the guests. we had a bad experience from the shuttle from the airport, leaving us far away from the hotel. we needed to go up hill with two big luggages.

Tariq hotel. We stayed in july 2022. Its a very nice hotel. Newly restored and very nice. Pay the extra for the rooms with view - its faboulous. Breakfast is great and they serve tea and coffee all day for free. Its a 7-10 min walk from plaza de armas, half of it uphill - but well worth it. Taxis can drop you off at plaza iglesia san blas - from here 200 meters a little uphill to the hotel. Or at the corner if calle tandopata and Aiete angilitos, from here 50 meters flat. The san blas area (the area between the hotel is great) Try the restaurant pachapapa on plaza san blas - it has a great atmosphere. I would definately recommend this hotel!

Tariq is an absolute find in Cusco. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms great. The location in the best part of Cusco - away from the crowds yet close enough to the action. The views from the hotel are some of the best in the city. And the staff are lovely. I've stayed in a number of hotels in Cusco and this is my favourite.

The staff was super friendly and helpful , they have 24 hours service at the front desk , they coordinate a taxi back to airport and gives directions and suggestions about places to eat . Coca tea and fresh boil water was always available !! We also love the amazing view from our room and great location , close to everything . Thank you !!!

The service was exceptional. The girls at the reception and at breakfast always had a ready smile and were very helpful with travel recommendations. Breakfast was also really good and we enjoyed taking in breakfast along the beautiful views in the breakfast room.

The room was very nice with plenty space for all three of us to spread out our things. We all commented on the decor and the views from the breakfast room were gorgeous. They always have tea available and the breakfast was good (meat, cheese, bread, yogurt, quinoa crisps, fruit, eggs). This would be a great place for a multi-room group since they have some nice outdoor group areas. Hot water was great, and it was pretty quiet at night. Other than the earthquake when we woke up the next morning (eek!!) everything about our stay was awesome. ;)

There weren’t towels in our room, we had to ask and it seemed like they forgot. Also in the brochure it said we would get a tray with treats but we haven’t seen this. It is not that we really want this but don’t promise things that you don’t give. Bathroom is small but shower is nice!

Quiet area in Cusco with restaurants and bars nearby. Clean, spacious… Nice common area to have breakfast. Tea, coffee and water all day. You can ask the staff anything.

The hotel is a little far from the center of Cusco and it's all uphill, there's bars next to the hotel so the music is really loud at night. This was annoying especially since we had to wake up early for the tours. There was no heat in the rooms so it got really cold.

The time of year I went was coming in to Winter, therefore the room at night got very cold, Could have done with an extra blanket and the shower took a while to heat up. All in all though - a beautiful and comfortable hotel, would definitely recommend!

The design of the hotel is beautiful, really friendly staff and would do anything for you! Breakfast with a view was very good too. The patio areas also make a lovely addition, perfect for chilling and reading a book.

There is a bar/nightclub that is located close by. If you are staying here on the weekend, depending on where your room is, it may be a little loud into the night. Laundry was a bit pricy, so we used the Luis laundromat which was nearby. Also good to know that the hotel does not have good vehicular access-- we needed to meet down by the San Blas square to get picked up by our the trekking company vehicles.

It was so so beautiful! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone that is visiting Cusco. The location is great, and our room was absolutely incredible. We were on the top floor and had a panoramic view of Cusco city.
