Trying to get used to the altitude made walking upstairs to our room a challenge!

The view of the city from our room was worth it all. AND such a nice room and bathroom. 24/7 hot teas (including mate) to help with altitude. We found San Blas to be a hip, cozy, quietish corner of Cuzco from which to explore.

The shower door was missing on shower but wasn't a problem.

I love the views in this hotel, beds are comfy, rooms spacious and clean. Tea and water available throughout the day. Breakfasts are plenty. Staff are helpful. Location is excellent nice quiet area.

We didn't like the high elevation, due to getting sick from the high altitude. Other than that, we enjoyed our selves.

We liked the staff's attentiveness to details, and our request. As well as their friendliness, their very warming and welcoming attitude. Thank you staff for being helpful and kind.

Rooms were cold at night for me, but it was fine with my thick hoodie on. One of the room i stayed in had a leak in shower.

The location was very nice, view was spectacular, staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

We looooved our stay at Tariq. Highly recommend the rooms with the city view, it’s an incredible view over Cusco. The location is also really, really good, you are surrounded by amazing restaurants and bars, while only being a 9 minute walk to the central plaza (downhill!). The staff was also extremely helpful and accommodating to us, which was great.

We were forced to pay in dollars : if we wanted to pay in local currency, the exchange rate was "chosen"by the hotel and really not favorable for us (+40 usd on total bill). All costs in hotel were only mentionned in dollars, so I really felt trapped in a touristic hotel, where i was only here to give my dollars - at expensive price.

Room with a breathtaking view. We really liked the neighborhood and the hotel. Staff was really friendly, and even gave us take away breakfast on the last day when we had to leave early Breakfast was incredible, with a big buffet and freshly cooked eggs/omelet.

The hotel is in the hills overlooking old town Cusco, so the view is great but it is a climb to get there from the plaza. For those not used to the altitude it can be draining. The street that the hotel is on is an old cobblestone road that wasn’t made for modern cars. Your taxi will stop at the end of the street and you walk to the hotel, but the taxi drivers are used to this as all the others hotels on this street are in the same situation and the drivers carry your luggage to the hotel. All in all this is a minor issue and part of the Cusco experience!

Authentic Cusco building but with modern amenities. The breakfast in the breakfast room was terrific with a stunning view of the city. The staff was cordial and on top of things. Fiorella was particularly helpful with arranging taxis for us and information about Cusco. They let us let our bags while we went to Machu Picchu and had them in our room when we checked back in. We highly recommend.

The street the hotel is on is blocked with a huge stone so taxis can’t drive to the door. The taxi drivers carried to luggage, so no real complaints. It is part of the experience of staying in the ancient city of Cusco.

It is a unique property in the hills overlooking the city, within walking distance of the plazas. The staff was great, particularly Fiorella who helped with arranging taxis and letting us leave luggage when we went to Machu Picchu. The breakfast was great with lots of options including fresh fruit and eggs to order.
