Mostly great - it’s a bit of a bumpy dirt road to get there. The sauna was so hot it felt unsafe.

Lovely grounds, attentive staff, nice breakfast. The grounds are truly lovely and peaceful, with an opportunity to wander, hammock by the river, and relax. The room was huge and the bed comfortable.

I mentioned to the staff, that a mirror in the room would be advisable. Our room only had one in the bathroom.

It was more like a brunch. Varied and very good. Its situated about a 25 walk from Urubamba city, so you basically have to call a taxi to visit the City.

The grounds are immaculate. Feeding the baby alpaca was incredible. And the pools are lovely. The food was exceptional, dinner in particular was reasonably priced and incredible food.

Small issues we ordered to go breakfast and one order was incorrect. At dinner main course the pork belly was seasoned well but should have had a crisper skin.

Stunning location. Baby alpaca 💜. Staff was great. It was low season so we felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Such a beautiful property. Such hard working kind employees. Such a peaceful and gorgeous place. The shalas the cold plunges the tezmecal. All of it was perfect. Close hike to the waterfall.

My favourite hotel of our trip. Lovely big room with a door straight out to the pool. Exceptional food and helpful friendly staff. As we left Abel told us about the humming bird garden - many thanks, it took some confidence to get there but Ensifera was brilliant.

For the price, the massage services left something to be desired. There were kids playing in the room next to the massage, so there was a lot of noise from them and their games/videos. It was distracting. And after the massage, the therapist "helped" me to fill out the survey, so of course I gave high ratings. The massage itself was fine, but I think I would have gotten the same experience for half the price in town. Not what I expected from a hotel with such exacting standards otherwise. Nevertheless, I'll stay here again.

It's an absolutely beautiful and relaxing place. So many thoughtful touches, from the decor to the alpacas to the landscaping and activities. The rooms are large, comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast is very good. Setting along the river is exquisite. I really fell in love with this hotel.

The hotel and staff were amazing! They went above and beyond to make my stay there wonderful. The view from my room was breathtaking looking over the mountains. It was extremely relaxing with so many amenities (spa, hot tub, swimming pool, massage services, hammocks by the river... just to name a few).

Beautiful location, but a little off the beaten path. The property is gorgeous, and the staff gave us a great tour. Breakfast was great, but you needed to order in advance, as it was very quiet there.

Incredible experience from the moment we walked into the lobby. The hotel sits next to a river at the bottom of the most magical mountain which set the tone to our entire stay.

All suites have views of the mountain. It was a good place to acclimatize before you go up Machu Picchu. Beautiful garden, excellent food selections for breakfast. The grounds are very well-kept. You can pretty much stay there for days and be happy. The indoor pool was very welcoming after a day's hike.

Transfers organised by the hotel were very expensive. I arranged some trips with local drivers I located in town for significantly less.

The hotel and grounds are amazing! A piece of paradise in the sacred valley!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pools, both indoor and outdoor are fabulous! I liked the sound of the optional activities, unfortunately most weren't able to be booked for a solo traveller.

The only access to the hotel from Urubamba is a narrow dirt & stone road.
