Hotel is located close to plaza de Aramas, on a quiet street. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious.

Good hotel for a few nights. Good that water is included daily. Breakfast was okay. Room was clean. Laundry service good.

No complaints- just keep in mind that it’s not a particularly social hotel, as they don’t have a bar (that we were aware of).

Our room was comfortable and quiet, facing the inside courtyard. Although the room wasn’t huge, there was enough space for our suitcases and the bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries, fresh towels provided every day. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet- very happy it started at 6am so we could even fit in breakfast before tours. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the roof terrace. Staff were friendly, I love that they helped take our luggage upstairs when we arrived and dropped in a little chocolate every evening- nice touch!

My parents really enjoyed the experience, they had problems with their flight, but the hotel staff was really comprehensive and helpful.

Great location, very close to the monastery and restaurants. Staff very attentive and helpful. Nice shower. Also, the internet was good and fast enough for video calls. I had to look at many different places in Arequipa before I found one that had decent WiFi.

If there is something that you could improve: Install Smart TVs with Netflix haha

We stayed at Tierra Viva in total for 6 nights, but made a two day trip to Colca Canyon in the middle that’s why we have to write our review twice! The Service, the breakfast, the rooms, the bathroom was excellent and outstanding - in our opinion the best hotel in town for a few days for a cheap price! We had one little incident with our laundry but the Hotel Management and Joel handled it outstanding and satisfied us with their convenience and service 24/7 and found a great solution! Speaking of Joel: The most amazing and humble person we have ever met - he brings “service” to a new level with his customer centric behavior. When we come back to Arequipa one day, we’ll definitely stay again at Tierra Viva, thanks to Joel and the whole Tierra Viva Team for making this stay so special!

Our window looked on to the street - we were there over a weekend and the noise was incredible. The windows are not soundproof! Great place to stay but take earplugs!

Good location, fairly large room that was bright and clean. Large, comfortable bed. Powerful shower with hot water. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful in assisting with food delivery (we arrived very late) and transport.

Had to change rooms because the street facing one was way to loud no sound isolation. Second room was basically a dungeon. No real windows no light and it had a really stale smell in it. Not worth the 80 dollars we paid per night.

Friendly helpful staff. Compfy beds.
