How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

everything was fine
breakfast was very good, the staff and the location were great! we were very tired and had some time to get some rest and enjoy the place around also our plane back home was quite early in the morning and the staff arrange everything for our transportation

The room was a little cold and the space heater they gave us wasn't very good.
All of it - breakfast was amazing, the bed was huge and comfy, the amenities were perfect.

The airport shuttle was one reason we chose this location. Turns out they just call you a cab which you still have to pay for. We didn’t mind as the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately at no fault of the hotel our cab driver did not show up for over an hour after we landed. Since it was already after 1:00 am we went with a driver who was at the airport. He totally screwed us and charged way more than we thought he quoted. Always check which currency they are referring to!
The front desk workers and bell hop were all fantastic! They got us checked in at 2:00am and made sure we had what we needed. I loved the complimentary bottled waters each day, a simple nice touch. Rooms were very clean and the hotel held onto our luggage for the day while we explored.

The breakfast was a bit limited but nothing major
Everything! This hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room was spacious and clean and the bed had one of the comfiest pillows I ever slept on! The location is amazing too!

Did I mention the power washing? The shuttle they organized from the airport (which I greatly appreciated for the way in) was S80. I took an Uber on the way out for S44.
The desk staff is amazing!! Explained that the horrible construction noise was the city powerwashing the street and it ends at 22:30. Which it did, thankfully! Room was directly next to the elevator but I never heard it. I was also exhausted though and would have slept through a stampede once I was out. The. Shower. I took a late shower while waiting for the city mandated power washing to end and it was heavenly. Even the soaps and lotion were great! No problem holding my bags in a secured location. The breakfast is thorough, even a picky vegan (like myself) can be satisfied. The late check out (noon!) let me go for a long stroll in the morning on the new bike path. It was absolutely superb and a stunning view even though it was overcast. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants, some bars and a lot of little food shops. Really a great location if you’re not trying to go to Lima.

Not enough restaurants in the area. There were only a couple that were open. This may be due to Covid. But it didn’t look like there were a lot of restaurants regardless.

The location is just alright. It was a long walk to most places we wanted to visit, but it was easy to get an Uber.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful, and accommodating. The Wi-Fi and shower worked great.

It was a clean and modern hotel room. All of the staff were friendly and were super helpful at recommending places to see within Lima. The tea and coffee station was also a welcome surprise after a long day. It was a great location to walk to some parks and a mall that is close by.
