Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyWe liked everything
All! To have stayed on the little Uro Island from Isak and Gladys was a very beautiful and exceptionally experience for us. The Titicaca Sariri Lodge has a wonderful view, is cozy inside, big and very comfortable. For the cold night Gladys prepared tea and „a hot water bag“ for the bed, so it was finally not cold at all. After the first sunbeams on the Terasse, a hot shower and a very tasty breakfast, Isak took us in his own build boat for a little fishing tour..our stay was really joyful and unique, thanks to the heartful and nice couple.

BelgiumWe loved everything about the lodge: from the warm hospitality to the eco-toilet. 😅 Isaac and family are so sweet and nice. He picked us up in the night and gave us an authentic boat ride in the morning, and arranged to taxi for us (to Juliaca airport - 1 hour away). We would recommended the Titicaca Sariri Lodge 💯 %❣️

FranceStaying at Sariri Lodge was one of the most interesting experiences of our trip to Peru and Bolovia. We were warmly welcomed by Isaac and his wife. They did everything to help us feeling confortable. The boat trip and fishing trip with Isaac (included in the price) is even better than the standard tours to Taquile or to Isla del Sol. I loved every moment here. The room is clean, spacious, with the best sunset view. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

United KingdomOnly a very small issue but It would have been nice to have some seats on the terrace area.
What a unique experience staying on one of the Uros floating islands on lake Titicaca. Issac and Gladys were such wonderful hosts and gave us a glimpse in to life on the islands with a tour, a fishing trip on a reed boat and a demonstration in to how the islands are built. Both so happy to answer our questions. Gladys provided a delicious evening meal and breakfast. Beds are large, comfortable and warm with lots of blankets. It gets chilly at night - take them up on the offer of the heater in the room to make getting out of the very cosy bed in the morning a bit easier! The island community now relies on tourism for their income and I think going to stay on one of the islands gives an insight in to their way of life that a tour from Puno can't. I would highly recommend a stay with Issac and Gladys at Sariri lodge.

United KingdomThis is more an experience than a 'stay' and once you embrace that, the place is unique. You are visiting a small community of people living quite unusual lives and the calm and tranquility is fantastic. Moreover, the hosts are the most friendly people you'll ever meet. Isaac and his family went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We would highly recommend this if you are looking for experience.

Isaac and Gladys were the nicest hosts and we absolutely LOVED our stay here (we got by with our very basic Spanish and their basic English!). We were picked up by Isaac on his boat and taken to the Uros Islands, shown around all the islands and even taken out on a traditional reed boat. Dinner is extra but it's all homemade and served on their island. The room was massive and super comfy, clean and warm. There was a little balcony where we watched the sunset from. We also learnt so much about the culture of Aymara people and life on the Uros Islands!

United StatesThis experience is like no other. You will be living on one of the floating island of the Urus, completely made of the local plant (totora), and be the guest of the lovely Isac and Gladys. Their hospitality is unmatched: Isac picked us up by boat, showed us the island and even took us on a fishing trip; Gladys cooked for us and taught us about their culture and traditions. The room itself is very comfortable and romantic, with a sensational view of the lake Titicaca and a stunning sunset. We couldn't recommend it more!

United StatesThis lodge is an experience in living with the local people, not a luxury resort. If you go in with those expectations you will be amazed! If you expect the conditions of the 4 star hotel on the mainland, this is not for you.
What an amazing and educational cultural experience. Isac and Gladys were excellent hosts. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the homemade food was delicious. The added experience of seeing the Uros way of life on the reed island while fishing with Isac as a personal guide was wonderful! I would rate it as one of the best experiences in my lifetime. So glad I chose Titicaca Sariri Lodge.

Wonderful stay with Gladys and Isaac, we loved everything about it, it was a privilege to spend time here and see how the community live. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the tour around the islands and the fishing trip with Isaac, all included in the price. The breakfast was good and the evening meal well prepared for a very reasonable price. Very comfortable room with a great view. We spent 3 days in Puno and visited the uros islands again as part of another trip, this showed us only the tourist view of life here, staying with Gladys and Isaac gave us a real view of life in this truly unique place.

United StatesNone. Just remember for the environment, all Uros island toilet is not flushable but the compost toilet. But it's very clean and I don't smell anything in my room.
I would highly recommend staying with Isaac and his family. His wife Gladys picked me up from the ferry point and they showed me around the island and explained to me their culture and lifestyle. They made me feel at home, Gladys offered to eat dinner along my side and we had more great and heartfelt conversations. My Spanish was poor and she speaks good English. The room was extremely clean and both the view in the afternoon and at night are exceptional (you see a beautiful sunset and night view of Puno from the window). They also took me for a ride on the totora boat around sunset time and told me about the community. Food was delicious. The next day, they dropped me at the harbor of Puno and helped me arrange a taxi to the airport.
