Clean, comfortable, warm cabin in amazing location. Carlos speaks English (our Spanish is limited). He was very helpful and informative. Arranged the taxi from the bus station and picked us up at the lakeside.

The most relaxing and lovely stay at Carlos' place. The whole thing is beautiful and the bed is the most comfy thing in the world! Wish we could've stayed longer.

The water pressure in the bathroom was not very strong but it's understandable since you are on the made island...

The accommodation is very nice, the view on the lake is beautiful! The place was pretty cold during our stay, but there were extra blankets on the bed, so it was warm to sleep. Carlos, the host, was very friendly and helpful, he organized our transfer from the town to the island, and then a small tour to the locals the next day and the day tour to the islands. They also offered dinner in the evening and provided a tasty breakfast in the morning! We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel even though it was cold outside. Definitely recommend!

What a fabulous and unique experience! The view from our room was absolutely stunning and Carlos and his family made sure we had the most comfortable stay and taught us all about the community on lake Titicaca. Also, Carlos made sure getting to the island was a seamless experience. I would highly recommend staying here.

so unique. beautiful view from room over lake. VERY comfortable bed, friendly family, Carlos took us on a tour of the community the next morning for a small fee

The Family living on this island and hosting the accommodation are the sweetest! They are so happy that you stay the night with them. Carlos loves to show you arround on the lake and tell you about the community living there. He really knows how to make his gasts happy. Once in a lifetime experience.

In the night it gets really cold - they have a little heating but since they are heating with gas it should be turned off during the night.

The owner (Carlos) is a really nice and helpful guy. He made us feel home while staying with him on the island. He also showed us around and told us how the people are living in Uros. We really appreciated the food his wife cooked for us - it was excellent.

Beautiful room & very comfortable. I could really disconnect during my stay on the Uros Island. They picked me up from the port with a boat and we did a tour of the floating islands and visited families there. The breakfast & dinner were very tasty. I highly recommend to spend at least one night here.

The island is a bit messy due to construction work. We couldn’t really enjoy the silence that the Uros Islands are famous for because they kept hammering on their building project and heard loud music at the same time. Don’t expect them to be on time. They were late when picking us up from the port, they wanted to show us some craftwork that the locals had made where they said “we’ll show it to you in 30mins” instead 2 hours passed by before we got to see the craftwork, the transfer service back to the port - when we were on our way home - was late so we nearly missed our bus.

The view from the room is fantastic. Carlos who has the place took us on a boat tour around the islands which was wonderful. Good mattres and the room almost felt like a mini apartment with a sofa. Breakfast was nice consisting of pancakes, fruit and buns. Carlos is really good at speaking English and was very informative when telling us about the history of the Uros Islands. A good choice if you want to avoid the tourist traps. It’s an authentic and real experience when staying with Carlos

Just wow! The room is amazing but what we found most unforgettable is the friendliness of Carlos and his family. They made nice meals, were very helpfull and showed us around the community. His english is very good. We where very sad to leave and would highly recommend staying here.

Carlos and his family are wonderfull hosts! He's fluent in English and knows everything about the area and the (his) culture of the people. The stay is very comfortable: heating in the room, hot water in the shower, electricity and wifi and delicious food (breakfasts and dinner included)! Transfer to and from the hotel and tour of the Uros islands was also included. And the room gives an amazing view over the titicaca lake! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Rustic cabin which was very cold at night, very hot during the day. You need to take towels and toiletries. I would recommend taking snacks and drinks as well. Breakfast provided with option for basic dinners. Take a shower in late afternoon when solar has heated water, pressure not great but kind of works okay. No WiFi. Overall we felt it was expensive for what was provided 2 nights was plenty.
