The hot water in shower would end very fast. Bathroom gets uncomfortably cold.. breakfast room could have a little more light for more atmosphere

The location is great.3 minutes away from the train station. Owners are friendly and helpful. The sound of the river is very nice and the vegetation is beautiful. I recommend you to book tours via the owner and especially ask for Ferdinand. Breakfast was nice. We had a wonderful time with him visiting Maras Moray and Chinchero. Very patient person

The boss couple are very nice and helped us a lot. We chose to stay here for 2 nights on our round trip from Machu Picchu. The hotel has a nice little garden, the room is very clean, the bed is big and comfortable, and the towels are of good quality. Very close to the train station but very quiet. The breakfast was good, the coffee and bread were delicious. The price is also very good, it is the best hotel around!

A bit of an uphill hike into town. The road in front of the hotel gets crazy in the afternoon when all the tourist vans come in.

Fantastic location if you need to get to the train, especially early in the morning. The hosts were great. Gave me a to go breakfast for the morning and stored my larger luggage while I went to Machu Pichu. This was the warmest and most comfortable bed in my entire Cusco area trip. Nights can get very chilly and I appreciated the big thick blankets.

Wayras hostal is ideally located if you are catching the train to Machu Picchu. The room was spacious, spotless and hot shower. They packed a good breakfast before we left early in the morning. It takes 6-7 minutes to reach the main plaza but there are plenty of bars all the way up. Please bring soles (cash) with you bc sometimes the card machine is not working. I would recommend it 100%.

It was incredibly close the train station and convenient if your taking the morning train to macchu picchu. Breakfast bags come with water and juice which is helpful

our group had a 5:30am out time due to our train departure and the Hostel went out their way to prepare (14) large bags of to go bags for our journey. Although we were now allow to consume on the train having all those treats helped us for the rest of our journey that morning.

we were a group of 14 and this property was perfect for us. They were able to accommodate us with all our rooms and spacious beds. The comforters and pillows at this establishment were really great.

Freddie and his wife were very great and helped us with everything we needed (transport, tours, general recommendations). When we went to Machu Picchu early in the morning they prepared a breakfast to go for us. The breakfast was also very good, we were able to chose the time for breakfast every day. The location was amazing, very close to the train station (3 minutes) and about 10 minutes to the Plaza de Armas/Ollantaytambo Ruins. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay in Wayras Hostal when in Ollantaytambo!

My bed had a smell and even though it was very cosy and comfortable with thick duvet, I could barely sleep with the musky smell.

Excellent location next to the train station! We booked a night here as we had a morning train to catch the next day and the hostel offers free parking.
