One night they had a party. Police came over and told the hostel that they needed to be close. The personal did not notify me that i needed to pack my belonging and look for another hostel to stay. I told them I have a tour book that I need to leave 3:00am how did you not notify me. All the customer have to look for their places.

We booked shared room with private bathroom and it was not true, there was only one bathroom with 3 shower for sharing with 3 rooms with more than 10 beds. Other reason is that bathroom is not closed so you have shower and you are hit for cold wind. Other reason is sometimes the shower is not warm. Other reason is I ve already stayed in hostals in different places in the world and all of them have shared kitchen in order to prepare our own breakfast sometimes lunch or other meals and Wild doesnt have and its a way to force us to buy meals in the restaurant there and there is not so much options and beside this the location is a little bit far from the centre where there are restaurants. Other reason is they rent towels but small towels like face towels.

The location is not the best. I mean, it is definitely near the Plaza de Armas, but you have a steep slope to cross. The room is pretty dark even with all the lights on, and the music could be loud sometimes.

The experience at Wild Rovers was pretty nice! It is a European-style hostel where you will find a lot of activities. We went to the bar a couple of times and it was always great. Something else is that if you don't speak Spanish, you will probably have problems finding people to meet, as it looks like most of the people who stay there are English-speakers. The hostel staff are really kind! They gave us advice on where to find good tours, laundry, food, and they even helped us find a farmacy at 3am by calling a lot of people. well-deserved recommendation. We enjoyed a lot at Wild Rovers, and will definitely stay there next time I get to Cusco.

Huge dorm with 20+ beds and only two bathrooms. Very very loud and mainly guest from UK, so the pub feeling is right inside the bedroom.

16 bedroom dorm with bathrooms right next to it. In two months of travelling and staying in dorms, this hostel offered the worst sleeping conditions. Highly disappointing.

Although the food is good, it’s annoying that there is no kitchen at all. The other thing that was really upsetting was that staff literally turned their backs and ignored us the last 10min before happy Hour ended. This happened on a few occasions where they took really long to make drinks or spent time on the computer. Despite trying to get their attention they would ignore us.

I liked the location of the hostel and the lay out. The stairs were difficult to climb initially and then it was fun. The rooms are very well set up for privacy with curtains. Beds are also super comfy. Good night life and good views of the hostel. Check in staff were sweet and lovely.

The prices they charge are outrageous. If it was a really good hostel, it’d be fair enough. The breakfast was pretty awful and dinner not much better. Again, this is very overpriced too. Wish we hadn’t spent the money at the place. Photos for each room on Booking.com are misleading also.

The bar is good. Nice view from the terrace.

Been travelling for 6 months by bus from Mexico. This is THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED ON OUR TRIP. DO NOT STAY HERE. Myself and my girlfriend have been travelling for 6 months, mostly by bus, from Cancún in Mexico. In that time, we have stayed in some truly desperate places, some quite dangerous, and in many dormitories. But we both agree that of the eighty or so places we have stayed, none was worse for getting a decent night's sleep than this place. I'm really sad to say this, because I'm Irish myself and liked the reminder of home this place offered. But the dorms are a nightmare. Allow me to explain why. Cusco is a great city, and well worth seeing. This hostel offers tours to Machu Picchu and other locations, but the departure time for these tours are mostly around 3am and 4am. So during the 3 nights we stayed here in a 14 person dorm, numerous people were getting up to pack their stuff to leave every single night between 3am to 4am. That means alarms to wake them (and you) up. And of course all the noise that comes with packing all of your stuff up and leaving a place at that hour, in the dark. Some even take phone calls and start talking at this time. Let me assure you: you will be woken up at between 3am-4am here by people leaving for tours and you will struggle to get back to sleep. I am a heavy sleeper and literally slept through a semi-serious earthquake in Guatemala back in February, without earplugs, but despite wearing earplugs here, I was woken up 3 to 4 different times every night we stayed here. You see, it's not just that tours are organised to leave at 4am which wakes everyone up. The geniuses who designed these dorms placed a toilet and shower room directly inside the dorm, with zero noise protection. It might as well have been placed in the middle of the room. And every night, I'm not joking you, people were having showers at 3.30am. Yes, you read that right.

The view. The table tennis. The staff were trying their best and were good people That's it.

There are a lot of drunk children in the hallways, trying to lead an adult life. It is not possible to rest because there are parties that allow children to come back making scandals and messes in the rooms. The staff is extremely disorganized.

To get to the hostel its a long hike up a couple of stairs from downtown.

The view from the restaurant is very beautiful! The beds were comfy and each bed had a charging station and light. The restaurant had a good selection of food.
