Nina and her husband were wonderful hosts. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport; we had a one-night layover in Papeete between a flight from Bora Bora and an early morning flight to the U.S. the next day. Nina had fruit and cold water for us at arrival - welcome on a hot day! She also had coffee and a few snacks in our well-airconditioned room before our early flight the next morning. The stay was as expected, a short drive from the airport, with gracious hosts who eased our journey. Would highly recommend Chalet Ohana to other travelers.

I had no complaints whatsoever. Nina's personalized service was outstanding, from the fresh papaya, to lending us her vacuum to clean our rental car. We felt completely at home and comfortable. Additionally, she frequently assisted us with any inquiries about dining options and sightseeing.

If you're seeking convenience near the airport, this spot is ideal. With ample parking space for your private car, it's situated in a secure area. The property offers comfort and ease, with Nina's friendly and accommodating demeanor making it feel like a home away from home. You'll find a swimming pool, communal cooking area, and fridge available. The property is impeccably clean, and Nina's willingness to assist and engage with guests during their stay adds to its appeal.

The bathroom while inside the unit just didn't have any a/c so you might get hot going to the bathroom or getting ready. That's really the only minor thing bad. Stay at this place.

The host is so nice, she was such a doll. The unit only had EU plugs but I asked if she had a converter and she brought one right away. Also communication with her was easy not only via phone/texts but in person. I would 100% stay again.

The location is only a 5 minute drive from the airport so a perfect place to stay for a late departure time. The room although part of the main house is still private and beautifully presented. Down to the super comfy large bed, AC and lovely bathroom. Nina the host is so delightful, welcoming and so incredibly helpful with everything we needed. We would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Chalet Ohana! Nina, our host, was so warm, friendly and helpful. The guest house was pristine and very nicely furnished. We stayed in one room and our kids in another. Our kids loved swimming in the pool. Very conveniently located and we very much appreciated Nina picking us up from the airport at an ungodly hour and for her recommendations for meals and entertainment close by. She is a great ambassador for Tahiti.

The charm of the house was matched by the charm of the hostess, Nina, who welcomed guests with warmth, information and anything else needed. Although I had a car, I know they were used to picking people up from the airport, which was very nearby. I'll definitely stay again if I need a short stay near PPT airport

We booked a room at the Chalet Ohana only for a couple of hours. We arrived quite early and our connecting flight was quite late. We booked only to freshen up and enjoy the pool before the long flight. Unfortunately, it was raining. More important to mention is that Nina did everything she could to make us as comfortable as possible. The chalet is really close to the airport and the included transfer was perfect. The property is beautiful and the room with its amenities was put together with lots of love. You can not fault the Chalet Ohana.

Nina is a great host, she came and picked us and 3 surfboards up at the Faa'a airport even late at night after our flight was delayed. The free pick up is a huge plus after such a long flight from Europe. Dealing with taxi surfboards and direction to the house so late at night with no local currency would have been very painful. Great dream location very close to the airport and really quite, beautiful tropical garden. The bedroom is huge, AC, with a king++ bed and a one person bed, self coffee and tea machine (coffee, tea and biscuits provided by host, it s a plus when jetlaged and awake in the middle of the night with nothing to do ) private modern and huge bathroom with Italian shower. The house of the host has been renovated in a classic island style and breakfast on the swimming pool terrasse is a must do. I was travelling with my 2 adults sons the room was perfect for a short stay. Sharing the huge double king++ bed was not a problem. This place would also be a great location for a couple to stay for a longer time because it is quiet, central and no other guest so you feel privileged !! The room is also in a part of the house where you don't meet the host when going to the bathroom, it makes the feeling being in a private place really enjoyable.

This was a great little place and the hosts were so accommodating. We were only there for the night before our flight but the kids got a swim in and the dinner recommendation was a perfect place only 5 min away looking at the sunset over the ocean. Everything was new in the room and had everything we needed for the family. Loved our stay.

Nothing much the room is a bit narrow hence it s just a bed, yet it served it s purpose well. The room is behind the house in a small enclosed backyard. By the photos i thought there was more space over all and that it was next to the pool. So if claustrophobic you should know. It was ok and was overshadowed by the cleanliness and kindness of Nina.

Nina and her Husband are very Nice. Nina is very reactive and very appreciable and helpful. The free shuttle service was very much appreciated as i had to sleep 1 night in papeete before my international flight. Good value. The room was very clean so was the bathroom which is shower and toilet enclosed with enough space for the entire bathroom not to be wet. There is air conditioning in the room which is much appreciated.

The home is not within walking distance of other places so without a car it is hard to get around. But Nina was very helpful in providing us with taxi information and with rides to and from the airport.

Nina and her family were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room has everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We stayed one night, arriving late into PPT and needing to catch another flight the next morning. She gave us great recommendations for breakfast and for how to get around town. This was a great option for a home-stay experience close to the airport.

Lovely and friendly family. This guest house is fabulous. My room was clean and big with private bathroom and air conditioning. Sheltered areas available as an outdoor dinning area and a cute area open space with garden sitters, a terrace and a pool. So close to the airport and well located in papeete. Prices advantageous. Host so helpful. Thanks again

Nina and her husband were SO wonderful to stay with. They're such charming and kind people! Their home is beautiful, the room had everything we needed.
