First off, Sarah is fantastic! Friendly, helpful, good vibes and a genuine care to make sure my family and I had a great experience. Tiki and Aiko are the dog and cat duo that add to the charm of this exceptional place. Friendly and laid back. The property itself is so beautiful. Very relaxing. Very peaceful. The room was exceptionally clean and gave a very welcoming feeling. The bathroom and shower were very nice and private! The kitchen is great! We made some meals there and there’s enough room, space and everything you need to cook or bbq. The views were amazing from anywhere in this home. The pool was perfect! Along with the outdoor area to kick back and enjoy the grounds, we felt like we were on another vacation on our vacation! Can’t say enough good things about Fare Haurevaiti! You’ll just have to check it out for yourself.

A wonderful tranquil place, away from the main road. Great community kitchen to prepare your own meals with everything you would ever need. Thoughtful hosts with loads of off-the-beaten-track tips for a fantastic stay. Thank you Sarah and Seb!

All was amazing, the only thing to comment to other people is that the gravel road is a bit tricky and be sure to bring something for mosquitos

No air conditioning

This was a beautiful place. The location to sites is not good but the location to a great hike was very good and the place itself is beautiful. The young proprietor is a beautiful young lady, named Sarah, who is extremely charming, thoughtful, and helpful. The place is very scenic with gorgeous gorgeous views and a beautiful. Well-maintained pool. It’s decorated in a festive bohemian style. There are things like chipped tile and the house seems older (but very clean), but it’s all part of the charm. A very memorable stay I would recommend this place. I have videos, but I noticed this site will not let me upload them. I wanted to because it’s hard to capture it in photos. Sara is very helpful and rented a car for us. She offers pick up for a fee but even took us to the grocery store. We met other travelers while staying at her place just enjoying the pool and her patios and dining together. We hope to stay in touch with those people as well as Sarah. Sara will do laundry for $10 a load. Sara takes the running of her place serious and puts a lot of effort into doing it well.

We spend 4 nights in this beautiful house and enjoyed very minute. Communication with Sarah was perfect and we didn't miss anything. Swimming at night, surrounded by the mountains was unique. We didn't want to leave. I would recommend a car to reach Fare Haurevaiti and all the sights on Moorea. www.autorentmoorea.com is a small local company with super customer service. Thank you Sarah for creating such a cute house and we hope to come back again sometime!

I have no complaints about my stay.

Saraha has a wonderful and unique place and she is a very gratious and kind host. She also has excellent tips on what to do around the island. I would recommend anyone who looks for more relaxed unique vibe than your standard hotel or other accomidation to book here.

Everything was perfect! The Room was very private, and beatifully decorated. The beds are super confortable. The commom areas are absolutely lovely and perfect to relax. We rented a scooter there (super practical) and Sarah, the host, gave us amazing tips to visit the island. The breakfast here is also very good and you can even have some tasty homemade jam. We loved Aiko (the cat) and Tiki (the most lovely dog Ever). Its located on the heart of the island (near Cooks bay), near restaurants and near the supermarket. This place just feels like home!

The road to go to the house is not the best, but with a car there is nothing to be scared of!

This place is an oasis in the middle of Moorea. Sarah is an amazing host and she has a lot to tell about her experiences in French Polynesia and beyond. I really enjoyed spending some time with her and if the weather were better (we were a bit unlucky), I would have loved to go with her hiking around the island. This was only one of the many activities suggested by Sarah! She was also extremely helpful in finding restaurants and places to have a quick bite. Alessandro and I will always keep in our hearts this place, Sarah and... Tiki! Very much suggested stay to have a real, off-the-beaten-path experience in Moorea.

The home was very peaceful and comfortable. The room and bathroom were private but Sara welcomed me to share her home. The pool was wonderful to swim in after a hike. Sara is an incredible host and it was a pleasure spending time in her home.

Lovely place. Amazing view on the mountain. But from all my stays, this is one of the best and nicest hosts ever. Suggested things we did not even think about! Good bed, fully functional kitchen. Book the breakfast, its worth it. Highly suggested. Perfekt location to start a hike, good beaches are 5 to 10km away. Everything else (restaurants, supermarket) is very close.

Our room was dark, even during the day. It also smelled musty unfortunately, at the end of our trip I thought this may have been due to the jute mat. I would have placed this outside the door had I realised sooner. It would have been good to meet the owner, I was looking forward to some of the extras she offers such as traditional weaving, and cooked breakfasts.

Access to a lovely kitchen, outdoor table and seating area, with garden. Pool was great. Room facilities OK although wasteful not being able to put plug in sink. From the balcony areas the views of the surrounding mountain basin was amazing. Particularly tranquil in the mornings!

Walkable to the grocery store but not much else. You really need a car when staying here.

Gorgeous home with an epic view of the mountains. Cozy, thoughtful vibe. Yummy vegetarian breakfast offered. Pool with lots of cute spaces to lounge around. Full kitchen.
