The entire hotel shuts down at 10pm. There is nowhere else to go for anything social after that as it seems the whole island goes to sleep then. As a younger couple, we would've definitely appreciated a night show and/or the bar staying open later. The breakfast buffet was pretty basic and busy. The space was awkward to pass by people in. Definitely enough food to get you going for the day, but nothing elaborate like AI resorts in the Caribbean

We stayed in one of the over the water bungalows for one night. At $1600 CAD, it was a splurge, to say the least. Everyone and everything we encountered there was spot on. We went for their happy hour which consisted of drinks and some food items. The pool area was lovely, and there weren't even any mosquitos. The wifi worked great - you cannot say this about other resorts on the island, so this in itself is a great feature. Service was friendly and prompt.

Would have loved to have a buffet dinner option more often.

The hotel was beautifully located and had amazing snorkeling without having to leave the resort. The rooms were great and the staff was very friendly. Loved the coffee table that opened so we could feed the fish! Also, within walking distance to other restaurants if you needed a change of food options. Happy hour was also great - drinks half price. We did bring floats, we could have done without them, but not disappointed we brought them. Water shoes were also very helpful - especially if you plan on going on excursions not on site. FYI - prices are comparable to NYC. We got legally married here and the wedding planning team was extremely diligent, answered all of our questions, and helped out when we were having an issue getting our paperwork overseas.

I think the breakfast could be better by displaying more local food. A bit annoyed that the night shift reception were not helpful when we wanted to play table tennis at night but we played pool at the bar instead which was fun.

The wonderful place makes it even more outstanding. Our bungalow was better than our expectations. The manager making sure everything was okay was priceless. The local singers at night perfect. And most of the staff were so welcoming and helpful.

In general the food was ok, we in particular liked the poke bowl we had for lunch in the outside restaurant The part which was not that great was the overpriced buffet which we had with the event which was organised with a dance show. Certainly for my pescatarian girlfriend there was not a lot of choice After the show the bill was settled very quickly without being asked if we wanted some coffee? It seems they are more interested to get their money. One other thing happened where we wanted a specific table which had become available and one of the waitresses told us that we could just have the one she gave us. Once we requested again she huffed and puffed and must have sworn (couldn't understand it) about our request when she walked away. Truly unbelievable how we felt treated. Fortunately another waitress served us the remainder of that evening as I would have requested a chat with the manager to discuss this most strange way we were treated. You should be expecting a lot better service in a place like this (I deduct 2 points for this!)

The location was amazing. For the first time in an overwater bungalow was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We could snorkle from our bungalow which was what I was hoping for. The coral and fishes were spectalular!

Getting to/from the airport was more expensive than we expected considering the distances involved. Limited places to dine out side of the resort-- although resort options were very good.

The facility was updated and in good condition. Setting was amazing but the offers of free use of kayaks, canoe, paddle board and especially snorkeling equipment made our vacation better and way easier. Daily free cultural activities were appreciated and well done. Food was amazing.

The check in experience was aweful, we arrived at 8am because of our early flight and we had to wait on the lobby with a one year old baby. Check in time until 3pm is too much, or at least they’ve could’ve offer like a voucher or something to go eat in wait like I’ve seen on others resorts … plus on of the server wasn’t nice with us
