When a new guest checks in, ensure to update guest information on your breakfast list to avoid guest having to go through the embarrassment of waiting during breakfast.

Not enough front of desk staff. Only one most of the time so had to wait a long time to see them. 4am pick up wasn't out the front. We walked down and picked up another bus.

I had to be extra cautious crossing the drive way. A crossing would be good. It wasn't clear if I could ask security to call a taxi in.

Good breakfast and location. I liked the setting of the dining area and the view towards the driveway between the adjacent facilities. I was happy with the way the ladies at the reception communicated their services to me.

Checkout was slow - not the receptionist's fault, but he was the only one on duty before 7am and had a complicated issue with another guest. They should have more people on reception at that time. Also the shuttle goes every half an hour but not on a particular schedule, so you need to allow extra time to get to the airport for an early-morning flight.

Very comfortable and quiet room, nice staff, decent buffet breakfast, secure location, free airport transfer. The whole place is very contemporary and well designed and maintained, and we had a great night's sleep. An excellent stay overall.

Elevators were not working. hotel dies not reply to messages via booking. After 3 days I had to write to Holiday Inn customer service to get a confirmation of airport pick up

Arrived at the hotel, and the room was not ready until 2 p.m., which was normal checkin time. However, I've been to other hotels that had my room ready upon arrival. One lift was out of service, and the lift that was working had no aircon and had a foul smell. I'm not a fan of carpet in a hotel room, and I wasn't surprised that the carpet looked dirty with stains.

Great location, was central. Staff were really friendly and polite. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Towels and linen were clean. The shower and toilet were clean. Appropriate lighting, the night lights that come on by movement sensor, were a good touch. Area felt secure and well guarded.

Breakfast was unchanging.....though hearty it was same same every day........very little salad (fruit & veggy) Haus Kopi Restaurant has a poor menu selection .....a lot of the meals ingredients were obviously from a can or frozen product. Prices are high. We stopped eating there after two meals. No variance between Gekko Bar, Express or main hotel in menu selections. One lift was not working the whole time and the working one had no fresh air or air-con. The extractor fan in our room 4617 was not working. Noise from other guests making noise / arguing in the hallways was disturbing especially in early hours of the morning

Only one lift was operational during my stay so it a bit of an inconvenience.

It is a great location as it is centrally situated in Port Moresby so it is easily accessible and is close to major shopping centers and other facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful in meeting my special requests.

Dinner: I was directed to Holiday Inn across the path to have dinner. I thought there would be a cafe or restaurant on-site to have lunch or afternoon tea. You were only offering buffet breakfast if I remember correctly. No air-conditioning in lifts it was smelly and coming up to my room level, no air-conditioning, as I stepped off the lift to my room. It was quite warm. But otherwise, my room was clean (one of my pillow cases was dirty) it was replaced by one of your friendly housekeeping staff, and air-conditioning was cold in the room.
