Pick up service from the airport is not trustable, totally unknown from the other spots. We were waiting 30min for promised ride and we ended up to an overpriced taxi.

My room didn't come with all that was advertised for the room. It didn't have a microwave, the TV remote didn't work, there was no safe, and the door was difficult opening. Just need someone checking off before patrons arrive.

Staff were super friendly. Grounds kept so green and gave you that feeling of being secluded from the hustle and bustle of the nearby road and community. I was pleased to discover that the hotel runs a shuttle service to the city's main mall. The room was spacious, and there was a proper size fridge. The local cuisine was👌

Exceptionally friendly staff. Free shuttle service to the airport and Vision City shopping centre. Complementary breakfast was very good, not just the usual continental affair.

The swimming pool was out of order The food portion was too big we couldn't finish it and wasted For lunch we ordered a seafood platter, it was battered fried calamari prawns and fish, it's not a seafood platter. Tuna made our mouths itchy we didn't eat it they offered us cake instead, it's appropriate if they didn't charge for it. Steak was supposed to be well-done but it was a bit burned The room AC was not cool enough it was so warm at night that we couldn't sleep. The safety locker was not working. The reception staff called our room for a wake-up call that we didn't request. TV channels are limited compared to other hotels.

Most of the staffs are very friendly Food is reasonably priced Good location it was peaceful Tuna made our mouths itchy and the staff offered us free cake although we couldn't accept we were already full.

These are not major gripes - would be easy to attend to. The room had a continuously running toilet (had to remove the cistern top to stop it) and bathroom door was difficult to close - not ideal for a twin room. Housekeeping supplies inconsistent (bathmats, face towels available one day and not the next) or not topped up (tea/ coffee).

Staff are fantastic - friendly, courteous, helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The staff are a real asset and set the Sanctuary apart from other hotels. Rooms are comfortable.

Studio rooms are pricey but the bedroom does not meet expectations like other deluxe rooms which are more spacious.

I like the complimentary breakfast. I don’t think other hotels in town offer this.

The pool area could use an uplift and was a bit smelly but might be due to the water shortage at that time. Its just suprising a big hotel like that doesnt have any water backup.

In general a nice hotel for Port Moresby. I like the restaurant and relaxing areas with proper kept animals and green surrounding. The rooms are according to the local standard but decent.

It would be good to have a small shop/kiosk to buy snacks aside from the restaurant, especially for those of us who did not venture beyond the hotel. Not a great variety of food choices if you were vegetarian.

The staff are superb. My room was large and light, which is good as I was there for a week. The bathroom was fine, bed very comfortable, a small fridge. I only swam twice, the pool is not big but was clean. Breakfast was very good, although nothing happens very fast. Internet worked well across the whole site, just one disconnect. I took my own wine and was able to drink it in the restaurant.

The pool was closed and the information was not shared online. That was the main reason of our booking and stretching our budget.

There are a lot of plants throughout the hotel which means there are a lot of mosquitos around unfortunately.

The hotel is a pleasant sanctuary, a short trip from the airport. Transport was waiting at the airport to collect as expected. We were brought punctually to the airport the following morning. The staff were pleasant. The hotel was large with a good restaurant in it.
