The shower floor is flooding.

Alec Lodge is in a good location. It is walking distance to restaurants and stores. The staff are kind and accommodating. Their breakfast are well served and delicious. Our stay couldn't be great if the shower floor is not flooding. Overall, our stay went well.

We were woken up very early for an unexpected room change. Whole vibe was a little bit corporate (e.g. signs everywhere telling you what to do).

The staff was really caring and nice. We can rent tricycle, motorbikes and snorkeling masks at the desk. The rooms are nice, clean, air conditioning if needed. Perfect for a 3-4 days stay in Coron!

The banana pancakes at breakfast were delicious on the rooftop. The room was in a good location and was great for 1 night before we went on the Tao experience (only 10min walk from their office and then 5min tuk tuk to the port)

If I have one wish: breakfast until 9am would be lovely

Great value for money! The staff is so friendly and helplful. We stayed here before and after a sailing trip and could store one backpack at their place. They also helped my partner preparing a birthday surprise for me :)

Our washroom floor did not drain the shower properly due to the angle of the floor and location of the drain. Showers created puddles of water, making it slippery especially after five people have showered. We dealt with this by manually pushing water to the drain after every shower. A squeegee would have helped. We had tricycles sent to the pier to pick us up, but the price given by the hotel over Booking (250 PHP x2 trikes) was more than the owner said it should have been, but we were not offered the reduced price after this conversation.

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were so lovely, helpful, and shared fruit with us. We fit comfortably in the family room with 5 people. The AC helped to drown out the noise from the road and we had a good sleep. We had to work on two of the days and the upstairs area (where breakfast is served) was perfect with great wifi (less so in the room), a lovely breeze, and great views. We could tell that our washroom was recently renovated with a new toilet (great for tall people!), sink, shower head, and towel rack. The breakfast choices (7 choices in total) were filling, and the free drinking water and coffee was helpful. The location was a short walk from the busiest, most touristy area of town. Overall a great stay!

We really loved our stay at Alec Lodge, our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast served on the terrace and the beautiful view of the bay, but what makes this place really special is the owner and the staff. They were super friendly and helpful at all times and made our time in Coron even more enjoyable. recommended!

I love the hospitality. No problem for bag drop off at 5am then they will put it inside your room upon check in time. Thats why we were able to proceed with our early morning tour.
