10/10 location - a stones throw from cloud 9 boardwalk and quiet spot. Beautiful room which had all that you could wish for. Chilled and quiet in the evenings. Delicious breakfast everyday at Bliss and lots of local eateries nearby. Scooter hire and help with booking tours etc appreciated!

Not that I can think of.

They have great breakfast options. What I love the most is that you can request an early bird breakfast if you need to leave the hotel early to join some tours. I love the cozy ambiance of the room, it is spacious. Patricia made sure that we were taken care of. The property is located just beside the famous Cloud 9 Boardwalk.

If you want a relaxing stay, this place is for you- the rooms were exceptional and Cloud 9 is just outside your doorstep. The staff were super accommodating too!

NO sign board of the property we get lost looking around for the place “ looking for ALON “ as it was said in our booking but instead the sign or billboard was saying .., Bliss we’re confused and in the heat of the sun of looking for the place and asking for the direction of the bystanders seating on the corner of the property didn’t help us and instead told us it’s there! where in fact it was just literally besides it😡😅? … both of us were furious because at last there was a man was helpful told us the place itself was “BLISS”!!!! 😡😡😡😡 I don’t know what to say customer care service at the reception was nice but didn’t see the point and look of our faces and tone of our voices but she just continued talking and trying to talk about paper works then (because we are so hot and sweaty ) that is the time she asked if we want water… we have water? ?? …. hmmm? I don’t know maybe we probably used to people looks very accomodating and sensitive with customers needs by just looking they should know already and it’s supposed to be offered… I’m sorry if it’s because you don’t have enough staff… maybe…but “ customer service” is important to your business so people will come back again. #2 Reception area was dull or dead… nothing … #3 Swimming pool was not inviting or doesn’t look clean ??? ….The Property supposed to be a beautiful place but seems to be outdated . less care or ♥️😥😭

Salty water in the shower.

Patricia and her staff made a great effort in making a surprise for my girlfriend when she arrived. Low density with plenty of space and peace between the bungalows just in front of Cloud 9.

I hated the water that was coming out of the shower/faucets because it almost as salty as the ocean. I had to fetch filtered water (which they had available) and use that as my last rinse when I shower and to brush our teeth. The area where the property is doesn't have a lot of dining choices that you can just walk to compared to General Luna area.

The property is literally on Cloud 9 beachfront. A few steps to the right is the boardwalk. It had a pool which is mostly empty and made it really nice to be able to jump in after a hot surf session. Staff was great and very accommodating.

The rooms are super spacious. The bed, amazingly comfy. A lot of surface space to put luggage and storage for clothes for longer stays. The shower is spacious and there is a lot of counter space around the basin. The double blinds are a nice touch. You can use the translucent ones for a bit of light or use the solid ones to black out all sunlight. We couldn’t hear any noise from any other Villa. The location is incredible. Although you may find a lot of blogs say the best place to stay is General Luna, I highly disagree. Alon Cloud 9 is much quieter and you can’t hear any of the karaoke and loud bars from your room, so one can ensure sleep! There is still a good vibe around Alon Cloud 9 and the best part about the location is that the famous surf spot, Cloud 9, is right out front their private back gate. There are surf board hire shops right outside Alon’s back gate so you don’t have to carry a heavy board all the way from ages away. If you need to pop into town then hiring a scooter for 400 - 500 php a day is super cheap. Or catch a tuk tuk round town. If you walk along the beachfront to the right you’ll find the popular Shaka Cafe. Not a vegan, but the food there is amazing and healthy. Think açai, smoothie bowls, chia cups etc. If you go out their gate on the main road there is also a laundromat and a massage place on the right next door. Lastly the staff are beautiful and will help you with anything you need. Just ask and they’ll do their best to provide. They organised our airport transfers, our scooter rental, and let me borrow some utensils for some mangoes I bought at the markets. Thanks Patricia for a great stay xx

We spent five nights at Alon Cloud9, and it truly surpassed our expectations. The beachfront location, the well-appointed resort, the spacious villa, and the ideal setting made our stay perfect. If you're in your 30s or older, trust me, you'll prefer staying just outside the center of General Luna. The Cloud9 area is fantastic, as it's only a 5-minute bike ride to the center, and the surrounding area has numerous restaurants and shops. For surfers, you won't find a better location. During our stay, we highly recommend trying Vultun Spa, just a 3-minute walk along the beachfront. They offer excellent massages for only 700 pesos. Initially,when we made the reservation, we had doubts due to the limited number of reviews, but this place recently reopened after the latest typhoon that hit the Philippines. Give it a try; it's absolutely worth every penny!

At times the preasure in the shower was a bit low. Not tragic! I know, considering siargao is an island, that certain european standards need to be neglected for considerarion.
