If you are working nights on your trip, best to bring a work lamp and a regular sim for data. The lights were too dim for reading and sketching at night. Although it didn't bother us since we actually got to sleep earlier - great for recharging!

We highly appreciate that the owner recommended our transfer to a bigger unit. The bigger apartment was spacious with a beautiful mountain view. We love that we were able to birdwatch early morning while enjoying coffee. It's very close to the forest and encounters with its natural inhabitants are part of its charm. Tucked away from the crowded wharf -where most tourist accommodations are. This place is a gem and we got to explore more than the underground river. We'd stay longer if we could.

The location of the property is beautiful. You really are in the middle of the nature. The cottage was simple but comfortable and exactly what I was looking for - peace and nature. You hear the sounds of the nature (geckos, birds, monkeys) during the day and at night (geckos chasing each other on top of the roof) so maybe if someone is easily scared it is not for them haha. The owner and the staff were very friendly. I ordered dinner and breakfast which were tasty. In summary I loved my stay there and would happily stay again. Thank you Bambua!

If you think you would enjoy a rustic stay in the Sabang jungle you will love it. If you are expecting all the bells and whistles of 5 star maybe book somewhere else.

Sabang is a gem yet to be fully appreciated, and the owner, Andre, and his family, are some of the few that have fully seen its potential and made an incredible space for travellers like me. It's homely, it's close to nature, it's familial, and it's affordable. Sabang is glorious and this is the place to be, for whatever you need, breakfast, dinner, some washing, they'll do it for you while you take in the Underground River and the incredible beaches that surround it. Thanks to the whole family!

Bambua is really in the middle of nature and the loveliest place to stay in Sabang. Andreas and his family took good care of us and helped us with our activities - the underground river tour, a jungle trek and transportation to Sabang. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the house. We can only recommend Bambua! Please note that since the house is in the nature, you will hear different animals during the night, so make sure to bring ear plugs ;)

That we had to leave. We only had time to stay for one night and could definitely have done more.

Everything about this place was great. We ended up booking the apartment as whilst our Internet went in and out the double room got booked. It was obviously a bit more expensive but was so worth it. So many fantastic features. So much space. So well decorated. Was just great. One of our favourite places to stay in the Philippines. The view from the balcony was amazing. Loved it. Didn't want to leave

Beautiful place in the greenery. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at Bambua. They were also able to cook delicious vegetarian food for us and the two cats are just lovely (don't feed them, they get enough food).

What an incredible gem to find, an instantaneous coup de foudre! The property is surrounded by incredible mountains and lush vegetation. The host make you feel at home instantly. He will happily help you discover the hidden gems and tailor adventures around Sabang. Time will fly without you noticing, 1 day is definitely not enough!
