The single room is far too expensive, half the price would be realistic. No soundproofing, you can hear every noise from the bar below. And since the only access is the beach, the sand is scattered everywhere.

Showers felt a bit grubby and the shower heads wouldn’t stay up so was difficult to use even though I’m short!

Perfect spot right on the beach above a dive shop so really central. Curtains on the bunks and lockers in the room and the air con was ideal

I didn’t have a towel when I asked for one the manager (who had been drinking) told me he didn’t have one available. Then went upstairs found a used dirty towel and tried to give that to me. The beds were very squeaky.

The receptionist was very kind, she helped our group get a refund for a tour we’d been on.

Cleanliness of the rooms was pretty atrocious. Dust everywhere in the rooms and the bathroom/shower area always had a layer of water you had to walk through. I read a recent review about bed bugs and was quite sure I saw some bed bug stains on the bed sheets after my first night. You also don't have any air conditioning in the rooms. For the 22 euro I paid per night it was definitely not worth the money. Unfortunately it was my only option after I choose to extend my stay in El Nido. My advice is to look elsewhere in El Nido before staying here. The staff were friendly and the location was good if you want to be close to the centre. If they make improvements to the points listed above it could be a good hostel.

We were a little disappointed about the hygiene and the furniture. The water of the shower sometimes fills the bathroom floor, the facilities are not washed enough. It would not be too hard to make this place better but it definitely need more day to day cleaning.

The hostel is very well located and has a beautiful view in front of the sea. It is located next to all of the boat departures, to restaurants and all of the night scene. The people that work there are very nice. The owner is willing to give information about the island and to help.

The bathrooms could use some better cleaning. Large puddles of water around the toilets is not very comfortable if barefoot is requested. Powerplugs in the room are very loose and couldn't really keep a charger in.

We thought it was cold at the hostel, to our suprise its humid and hot (only in our room I guess) Theres no AC and we know it, fan type of rooms. Common bathroom as well

Beachfront type of hostel, it was clean and spacious for the room upstairs (i forgot what its called) our window view was the beach, the lobby with bar is overlooking the beach and mountain as well. Staffs were good and nice to talk to, very accomodating as well.

There is only waterpressure if you go ask for it and one day we didn't have warm water either witch was unfortunate after we came back really cold after a tour. One of the windows was missing when we arrived but they fixed it after we asked. One toilet (out of two) was Broken and the other one had a lot of water on the floor so my entire feet were in the water while going to the toilet... All in all not a good experience.

Needs maintenance for the basics- water, electricity, bathrooms and toilets. If you want a rustic beach shack experience, this is it.

Excellent location. The beach view is outstanding. Easy access to everything you might need in El Nido. Popular with backpackers. Plenty of opportunities to meet up with people. Unbeatable at this price point.

People were just dead, no vibe for an on beach location, toilet clogged, shower did not work for a few days. But they resolved it. Place has so much potential but just dead.

The key to our room was lost by someone from the crew so we could either keep the doors open or close them knowing we will be “breaking in” to enter it again. One of the toilets was not working and the cleanness of bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. I was in this hostel 8 months ago and unfortunately the quality seemed to lower drastically.

The location of the hostel is very good and view is beautiful. Also the WiFi is good.

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed at in my time of 5 months of travelling. You go into the room and there’s no air con, in a box room of 4 people and 6 people, we all have a tiny fan that does nothing so you’re left getting no sleep. I also believe this place has bed bugs, I have been bit 30 times all over my body, so has my boyfriend and the other people that we stayed with despite spraying loads of bug spray before bed and I have been itching for most of my time here, having to spend money buying creams, we let the owner know and all he done was change the bed sheets.. The showers are temperamental - sometimes work, sometimes don’t & you come out feeling dirty after it and is smelly.

One thing I would say though is the Bar staff are lovely and we have had some lovely nights with John, who has been a great!
