Next to the hotel there is an active construction site - not particularly noisy but it is there. The beach is wonderful but less suitable for bathing - there are many boats moored there

Everything was good but would be nice to have an area to shower or change after you have check out and your flight is at night time or late afternoon. So you spend all day at the beach but then you don't have a designated place to refresh or change before your flight.

Everyone is really friendly and helps you around in whatever you need or want to do. Very well located and is in a calm area, perfect to relax and withing walking distance to restaurants, etc. Breakfast is super nice and you can change everyday to whatever you want from the list.

Next to the hotel a new hotel is just being built so the pool view to the construction site is unfortunately not nice. The breakfast options were various but not really good, also there were no options for milk alternatives. There were a couple of nice dogs around, when we asked about one which seemed like it just gave birth we were told that the puppies were brought to another hotel and separated from their mother as the manager doesn’t like dogs around the hotel. This made me very sad, if the owners of resorts aren’t happy with stray animals being around I would expect them to take action against the source of the problem and not the outcome.

The room was one of the best we’ve slept in during our philippines vacation. The bathroom was very spacious with the big shower, two sinks and a separate toilet. There were towels for showering, hands and face and even bathrobes which were very comfortable. Also there was shower gel, shampoo and a lot of other toiletries provided. Also the drawer offered enough space for two people. The bed was comfortable with a great blanket and the fan on the ceiling offered a refreshing breeze. Right in front at the beach you can watch the sunset and restaurants and bars are close by.

Breakfast took longer due to made to order and only one cook in a small kitchen. We arrived before a very large group and were not able to partake in the hot breakfast due to a tour we needed to get to. The beach is not a laying out beach. This hotel was too expensive for what it was. It is small and narrow. The surrounding area is not pleasant.

Breakfast was adequate, it was next to the beach. The patio of the family room had a nice view. The bathroom was large. The air condition worked well. You can walk to the port by walking the beach.

There are some windows with no curtains so the light wakes you up early. Putting blinds on all windows will make a big difference.

Construction works next door so very noisy when trying to chill by the pool. Struggled to sleep in the morning due to the light entering the room - no curtains on the upper windows.

Access from main road is unsealed with construction/demolition on both sides. Not a problem if you order a tricycle or van pickup to/from Banig Beach. Only an issue if you want to walk up to the main street - we avoided this by walking beachfront to Pops District and getting to the main street from there. The beachfront access was worth the hassle :)

Great location on Corong Corong beachfront - our island hopping boat tours (by Apetours) boarded from that beach. We also kayaked from our beach to Lapus Lapus beach, Papaya Beach, and Seven Commandos Beach. Also close to Pops District, short tricycle ride to Vanilla Beach (Las Cabanas/zip line area), and short tricycle ride to El Nido town. Staff and breakfast were very nice. Cleaning staff kept the floors so clean even when we were constantly tracking fine beach sand into the rooms.

I recently stayed at the 'Banig' in Corong-corong, El Nido for three nights and had an excellent experience. The rooms were truly amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. The presence of the cute dogs, Bebu and Corong, added a charming touch to our stay. The hotel's location, just a 10-minute tricycle journey from the main town and Marimegmeg beach, was very convenient. The concierge was exceptionally helpful in organizing our tours, and the option to book massages directly to our rooms was a fantastic convenience. The staff at 'Banig' went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They prepared their amazing fresh bread for us to take back home. The team was incredibly attentive and super friendly throughout our stay. Their exceptional service added to the overall positive experience, making it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding service and memorable moments.

It is out of their control, but construction is occurring during the day next to the resort and workers can see into the restroom windows of room seven. The first day, we were gone all day, so we didn't experience it until a few hours before checkout.

The staff was amazing and helped us with all our needs, from late check-in, booking a tour, and answering questions/getting to places in town. They went above and beyond! The breakfast in the morning was something to look forward to. If you enjoy pancakes, order a meal that includes them, they won't disappoint!

Beach isn't good for swimming, very shallow and Correl sand so sharp. AC not the best, so bedding felt a little damp.
