It would be nice if the shower water was a little stronger.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and comfortable. The pancakes for breakfast were delicious.

Dogs barking . There’s not much to do around that area, but in 10‘ walk you’re at the main bus stop.

The room was quite small but it's okay compared to the local houses near-by, you have to put things into perspective. The mattress was smaller than the bed, it was only a 120cm which is a bit small for 2 persons... The shower is just above the toilet sink, so it's not practical but it works well. There were cockroaches on the outside hallway but no issues in the room. They must treat it with bug spray. We were actually happy with our stay.

A simple but safe and well-maintained accommodation in the middle of a humble area, right in the middle of the market of Soong. Don't be afraid when you get there because the area is a bit messy, but the coffee house reception is modern and offers really good food for a good price. The rooms are located in a tiny street among local houses. They can be a little loud in the evening, but who cares ? We were on vacation. Our room was tiny but clean, with a huge TV with movies and adjustable air-con. For the price, it was good. We could walk at night in the neighborhood where there are many places to eat, such as the Mercato de Mactan where many foodtrucks offer good food or drinks. It was for me a great experience to be far from tourists. The staff really welcomed us and helped us finding a white taxi for a fair price.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, really enjoyed them. If you need help getting a ride (which happens) they will sort you out. The room was bigger than expected and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A/C and hot water if you're into that; everything functions well. The bathroom is a bit small but oh well. Newtown is about a 15 minute walk or you can get a bus/colectivo on the main road. Lastly, the restaurant is amazing and fantastically priced. Lunch bowls, noodles, milk tea were all top notch and cheaper than anything you'll find in town. If I ever find myself in Mactan again I would definitely stay here.

The bathroom was too small for my height and size, and the sink was very small.

The staff was great, the room was very comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, the tv had Netflix which is very rear, and the food and specialty drinks that their cafe sold were delicious.

The washroom was good. However, the toilet bowl wasn't flushing on my second day. It wasn't the best time but thankfully, the staff were quick to sort things out - they gave me a new room and helped me pack with my stuff!

First of all, the price is already good enough (all types of staycation facilities considered). The breakfast, which is included in the price, is QUALITY to say the least. But what I liked the most? The staff!! especially Ms. Rizi - they exuded a professional and hospitable conduct all through out. Bonus: The little Cafe' they have is cozy!

The food bowls in the cafe are amazing and great value. Breakfast being included was really good; huge and delicious portions. Room was nice and the big TV with Netflix was great for a chilled evening in.

It's not that we don't like it, It's just quite hassle to bring a luggage or heavy things since you have to lift them up upon going to the rooms. You have to walk for 10-15 meters away from the road. For the toilet its really hard to take a bath using the shower, its too slow but still manageable. The toilet bowl also flushes on its own even if none of us are using it, probably its connected to the other rooms that backfires which we find it a bit weird and creepy at first but we got used to it since we stayed their for 3 days. :)

We love the food choices and the breakfast at the café. Their food menu for me is an international standard. Their staffs are very approachable and accommodating. We are happy of their overall service.
