A rather large cockroach in the room was a bit disconcerting. Housekeeping leaving doors open when cleaning so we always come back to mosquitoes in the room. It has improved from our last stay in January and even more so from last august when we had our wedding and got ripped off with the bar bill (we know what happened however I shalll not place that on here) however there are minor things that still happen consistently, housekeeping always miss something, eg toilet paper, replacing dirty cups, refilling sugar / coffee etc, minor things but attention to detail often missed. The buffet breakfast is good however again attention to detail can be better, milk not refilled for 10 minutes, fried eggs solid and most food a bit cold. The waiter / waitresses appear to only be able to carry one item at a time from the kitchen with the result things are topped up / replaced slowly resulting in poorer food.

We like the location as my wife is a local and it is walking distance to various local eatery’s / malls etc. The value is good. The good staff appear to have been kept where as I noticed that some of the poorer staff (not all) appear to have gone, this has certainly led to the place being a better place. The doorman who was on the front door daytime during our stay is first class, even helping out on the front desk at breakfast time when all the rest of the staff appeared to have disappeared.

The location, the pool was having maintenance which put us off going and the breakfast was a very limited selection.

The hotel was clean and spacious. The member of staff who checked us in gave us a free upgrade which was very much appreciated after a day of travelling. We were offered a later check out as we checked in late. The room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast menu could have better choices and presented in a more professional setting. Restaurant hours should be extended. The loitering of non-guest along the outside of the hotel should be address for the safety of the guests.

The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and comfortable. WIFI service was very good and daily cleaning was done in a timely manner.

Maybe the location as it is really far from the airport. The only issue we had was while trying to book a pick-up from the airport. While requesting a pick-up they asked us to pay before-hand, payment on arrival wasn't an option like almost all other hotels. We couldn't make the payment in advance because we only had cash in the county - no working card. Anyways that was a bit of trouble as we had to book a pick up from another place.

The facilities were great value for money. The room had wifi working without even needing a password, Room was huge with all required amenities. Rack to dry clothes, AC, TV, bedside lamps, charging station next to the bed, wardrobes, huge bed etc. The restaurant downstairs had a buffet option. Not very vegetarian friendly but still lots of options.
