This hotel is great for a cozy stay. The rooms are comfy, the service is top-notch, but there's not much to do around. Perfect for a quick stopover during your travels.

The staff, although helpful, could be somewhat friendlier. Given the running water characteristics of San Jose, it's fair that there are so many lime stains on the shower - but this can be taken care of. Most of the holes in the shower head were blocked for the same reason.

I liked everything about this place! We were only staying one night before our ferry and the hotel was so nice we wanted to stay longer just for that!

Great place in San Jose! Clean, comfortable and beautiful rooms with views of the ocean. Bed was super comfy. The hostesses were so kind and made sure all our needs were met. Provided a free tuktuk to the ferry port, and breakfast. Food was really nice. Also super cute guard dog on premise.

Hard to find the place. Locals didn't know about the resort

The staff was amazing and accommodating. The rooms were amazing, the view was great. It was quite a surprise. I would definitely stay here again. Very good tropical feel

Shame the beach was rather scruffy. Lots of litter. It wouldnt take too much for every property to keep their own section of beach litter free. A photo of the front of the property on booking.com would help to locate it.

Nice place, spacious & clean room, very friendly & accommodating staff and worth the price. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights unfortunately it was the rainy season & we weren't able to see other places. However on our 3rd day we were able to visit the white beach island with the help of the resort staff. They also helped us in arranging my partner's birthday party. Thanks much Rona & Jen we appreciate all you do.

Light sleepers might not like the noise from other guests sitting in the patio downstairs as well as the fact that light penetrates through and around the curtains in the early morning. No hot water in the shower. My girlfriend found that the water heater was disconnected. At one point there wasn't any water in the bathroom at all. That was fixed. There's no way to contact the staff from the room. Intercom wasn't working. TV wasn't working, no signal, no apps. No toilet seat.

The design of the room and especially the big hardwood bed. The ocean view. The complementary water bottles and toiletries. The free parking.

Nothing - the price is higher compared to the other hotel but i have no regrets since we enjoy our stay there.

We only stay one night - everything was perfect ! - The staff was very helpful and very accomodating: we were able to get our breakfast at 6am before our flight, with no issue. - The room is super clean and the bed is super comfy. - There is a free shuttle to the airport.

The water for the shower was lukewarm but not hot(at least it wasn’t freezing cold). Of course it’s always hot there(outside) so that didn’t bother us that much. This isn’t like a typical hotel, it’s like staying in a rustic cabin on the inside, but outside you’re on a tropical island on the beach, no room service really and they don’t come in during the day to give you towels and empty garbage etc., so that took a little getting used to. Breakfast was just ok, but at least it was included in the price and they brought it to us at 6am because we had a plane to catch.

The room we were given had a problem initially, water was not draining in the shower and the air conditioning unit wasn’t working very well. So they gave us the top floor suite for the same price!😎🤙 I recommend this place, It’s comfortable and the staff is courteous and friendly in a beautiful location right on the beach. The views were amazing!

The staff was really nice and even woke up at 4am to prepare breakfast for us. Really appreciated. The room was big, provided all toiletries you’d need including toothbrush. There were many mosquitoes, but that didn’t bother us that much since that’s nature, you must embrace it. They did have some sort of insect repellent soap that was hanged there and we appreciated the interest of avoiding insects in the room.

The first night we weren’t given an upgrade…although it had a king bed, it was really a queen mattress in a king-sized frame. It also was on the first floor and had no view whatsoever. Choose a room on the second or third floor if a view is important to you. There are no restaurants close by but you can order food from the hotel. The pool was not working!

We loved the room that we were upgraded to as Genius members…it had a great view, was quiet and spacious. The staff were lovely and so helpful. They took us to get tickets for the ferry which we really appreciated!
