How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The smell of the room and hallways are unpleasant. It needs better ventilation or atleast air fresheners
Location is in session road, like about 5minute walk from busterminal and 2minutes away from burnham park. It came with free breakfast. The front desk staffs has a welcomey vibe 🙂

The place was never REFURBISHED for the last 25 odd years. I believe we (my girlfriend and I) first checked in at your hotel in 1996-97, and comparing it to now, I saw first-hand that there were never any improvements made ever since. My daughter (from my girlfriend back then who's my wife now) and I actually checked in at your hotel last November 11, and the room is tidy, but it looks a little dirty. The shower/toilet is the same. The railing in your veranda is UNSAFE! The big royal chaise lounge located in the dining area is gone!!! My girlfriend and I used to love sitting and slouching on it after breakfast back in the days! All in all Benguet Prime is okay but you really NEED to start refurbishing it with new paint, new chairs and tables, new white towels, get rid of the sofas at reception, (They look unwashed and old!!!), fix the unsafe railings, fix the shower sliding door (it won't easily close/open), change the vynil floor covering (use new and vibrant colours), change your paper/cardboard checking board for your bookings at reception (you can fully automate it if you wanted to and lessen the use of papers and that cardboard checklist for guests), etc.etc. Benguet Prime will always have a special place for me, my wife, and my daughter. Hopefully, we'll see it in its full glory in the years to come!!! 😍❤️😊 Thank you very much indeed 🙏

It’s old need to renovate. Towels are old. Foods need to improve. Serving are too small.

tv is blurry. if the customer would have staycation they might be disappointed with the small and blurry television.

yes... this is an old hotel... need an improvement/renovations in every room...esp the old bed sheets, towels bed cushion(with bed bugs)

No hair dryer, electric kettle maybe helpful, the linen is kind'a thin. Hot and cold shower is so hard to operate. The center of the room is clean but the corners of the room especially the bed is dusty.
The location of the property is good since it is at the main and commercial business center. Sorrounded by restaurants, convenient stores and walking distance from nearby tourists spots. The staffs are accommodating and easy to talk to. Breakfast is good but sana unli coffee.....

We booked a Queen Room but the night we checked-in, the receptionist told us that all Queen rooms were already taken so they gave us a double room that didn’t include all the facilities stated on here in booking.com. I asked them how did that happen since I booked the room a week before our scheduled trip. They couldn’t give us an explanation but they told us they would transfer us to a room by tomorrow. They did transfer us which is a huge relief for me and my partner.

The complimentary water and snack was only for two person but the booking was for four persons. 3 adults and 1 kid. The slippers was 1 pair only. Again, we booked for 4 persons. The room was supposed to be air conditioned but there was no aircon. I woke up sweaty during our 2nd day. The TV was not of good use bcoz of the limited channel. We were confined during our 2nd day bcoz of the rain and the TV was supposed to entertain us but the channels is too limited to enjoy. It was our first stay in Prime Hotel.
I like the location and the view from our room.

The room was a bit old and probably needs a bit of a color or lighting. It was dark and feels like you were on the basement.
I like that location of the property and they were staff at the reception desk for 24 hours. I like the free breakfast too. The view from our room was amazing especially early in the morning when session road was empty! Staff was also very nice, helpful and welcoming.
