It brought me back to memories of staying in hotels during the 90s. Even the ceiling has patches of stains. The bathroom was big, but when we checked in there was still hair in the bathtub drain from the previous guests. There was also a tiny cockroach during our first night. We guessed it came from the big hole under the sink. The parking was horrible. They had very limited parking slots. We had to pay 500 per night at a nearby outdoor parking. We had to walk to the hotel and back again. That was the most stressful thing during our stay.
The room smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable, including the pillows. However, I was surprised that that queen sized bed only had 2 pillows. Maybe I'm just used to other hotels having 2 pillows for each side of the bed. The staff were very accommodating and let us check-in earlier than 2pm. There is a bathtub in the bathroom.

They made a huge impact despite the hotel’s need”Berjaya Hotel needs to improve / fix their AC. I woke up having sweat because their centralized AC isn’t working well. They have a pool but looks like the water is dirty. The sauna and gym looks obsolete.
The hotel has a perfect location. it’s easily accessible. It’s near everywhere- restaurants, bars, shops, malls. The staff are all courteous and helpful all the time.
