Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

GermanyIt's still new to booking so there were some initial problems with the door codes, but the staff provided immediate help and fixed it. Guestrooms are upstairs and the hosts (?) private home is on the ground floor. No communal area and wrongly advertised free airport shuttle.
The location isn't the best but we found it okay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but okay.

PhilippinesWe don’t have access on the main gate. I mean, the owner wouldn’t give us the code to have free access on the main gate due to security purposes which is understandable. However, the gate is not attended all the time. There was one time, we had to wait for 20 minutes until somebody let is in. Imagine the trouble waiting there with our two kids. Also, the toilet was dirty. We had to clean the toilet seat ourselves. You’ll also be forced to wake up early because the curtains are too thin that lets the sunlight through.
The staff were really nice and hospitable.

PhilippinesI was disappointed because we booked the room for 5 pax but they only gave us 2 towels and charged us P50/ towel if you wanna get extra. Also, the toilet drainage wasn't good. Our toilet floor was wet the whole time we stayed there.
The location was good because it's just a few blocks away from IT park and accessible to restaurants and convenience store. It's ideal for those who plan to do a lot of activities and just go back to clean up and sleep.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is next to IT Park. It is less than five minutes' walk away. I stayed there for three days. It is very convenient and hygienic. There are many restaurants and cafes around, which are suitable for eating, shopping and shopping. The staff are very friendly. I will stay here next time I come.

He let us check in at 10am due to flight changes.The place was great,it was aesthetically pleasing and has all the tools that you need. In terms of location, it was near our office, mall and restaurants.The internet was fast so it's great for guests who is in a wfh setup like us. Overall, we had a great stay andI definitely recommend this place.
