Room was quite basic and there were a couple of issues with the plumbing but it was not a problem, had everything we needed.

Water pressure for the showers was poor

The nearby beach was quite dirty with lot of garbage. After our arrival the staff was really nice and helpful, but the last morning they were different - apathetic, bored, almost unpleasant and we had to ask for everything.

Friendly staff (most of time), nice pool, great food, comfy bed. We rented scooters in good condition for a good price from the hotel. You can walk to the Hinagdanan Cave.

The one vegan breakfast option that I'd ordered the day before was given to someone else that morning and i was quite confused about that! Ended up with plain rice which tbh is what happens in small places in the Philippines so that's OK. I would have loved to have seen two vegan breakfast options on the menu. Vegan pancakes are easy to offer!

The sunset from the beach right by the hotel was stunning. I got myself this room as a treat after two weeks slumming it in some questionable hostels! It was nice to have a private room. The lunchtime menu was good. There were a couple of plant-based options and I was able to take a meal away as takeout for my journey when I left.

Facilities very poor. WiFi not working in the room, plumbing was an issue in the toilet and the water was gone on our last evening so we couldn’t shower. Location not great, far away from the main area. There were a lot of gaps in the bedroom door so there was a lot of ants in the room.

Overall the place is a nice and budget friendly stay right by the beach. However there are some (easy fixable!) things they should be working on: 1. Staff needs to be more attentive for the restaurant. We sat at one of the tables right by the bar and after 20min we got the menu by ourselves because no one was showing up. Same at breakfast. Only after getting the menu someone came and took our orders. 2. The fixtures in our bathroom need a deep cleaning or replacement as they were so full of chalky white deposit that the water didn’t get out properly and not in the direction it should be. Also the seam on the sink has mold so please replace that. 3. When we came back from swimming after sunset we couldn’t take a shower because there was no water. They send the maintenance guy to us but by the time he was there (at least 45min later) the water was suddenly back. My guess is that during times of the day when many guests use the shower that there’s not enough supply to distribute enough water to all of the rooms. Our room was the last in the row (room 6). 4. If of you have a hotel close to the beach you NEED to have a drying rack on front of the room to hang your beach towel and swim wear. The other rooms had a tiny rack on the wall with room for 2 hangers maybe. But those racks are not suitable for hanging a towel, let alone a towel and swim wear from more than 1 guest. Our room, for whatever reason, didn’t have that wall hanger. Please get decent drying racks or create a small common space where people can hang their stuff! 5. The general phone reception was very bad in the room and so was the WiFi signal. If you are around the pool it’s good though.

Very friendly staff, check in was easy, bed was comfy, pool is nice, food was good, location right next to the beach where you are able to see the sunset, the included breakfast is good Just a tip if we’re wondering if you can go snorkeling on the beach by the hotel: you need to swim out very far to find the corals & fish. The water stays pretty shallow for a very very long time though, so don’t worry. Bring your water shoes, there are ofc sea urchins!

Our stay was great except that they could have place several trash cans in the area. No trash can in the bedroom and probably they can also add mirror since the bathroom is located downstairs. The grilled chicken was very tasty however, it was not thoroughly cooked on the inside but I was so exhausted and hungry to call them out. There are also cats in the area so I just gave it to them. At 4:30 am, all the dogs in the area were barking and howling it was so weird and scary.

Great food, spacious bedroom, great ambiance. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool.

The water in the toilets was problematic. Sometimes we didn't have any, and sometimes we didn't have any hot water while the water pressure could be extremely low but it wasn't a huge issue, just annoying.

It was great and homey! The team made sure everything was ready for us and took care of everything. Helped with the laundry since the service was not working at that time (they sent us to a close property to do it). The food is great! They have a wide variety of dishes and starters, and several choices for breakfast (from local to international cuisine). It's very cozy and homey! The place is pleasant and humble while the pool area is relaxing! You spent time around without realizing it passes! It was great to sit there with the sound of the pool around to plan activities and the rest of the days of the trip!
