BelgiumThis is probably the nicest place I stayed in the Philippines (except a high end resort in Mactan, but that's a different category). I believe it's less than 10 rooms. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is great. Every room opens on the pool and has its own lounge chairs. The Belgian owner really takes the time to chat with the guests, which is nice. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but the breakfast was good. Staff is very nice and can help organise some trips around. The resort is in a very quiet area, away from the buzz of the beach, but still close enough with a short tricycle ride.

GibraltarLocated about 10 minutes from the main beach at touristy areas at Alona Beach, not walkable but easy enough to get to renting a bike or tricycle. Everything is cash only here including the room costs so if you didn't pre-pay make sure to take out the money at an ATM first although they were happy to let us rent a bike and go to an ATM without first paying for our rooms or the bike.
Rooms were very comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, nice swimming pool and good breakfast included.

The property gives you a little taste of European luxury. There appear to be very few rooms but each room has its own area facing the pool. There are little thoughtful things that we haven’t found elsewhere in the Philippines in this price range. the rooms were huge, well equipped and had everything you need. a kettle, coffee, bottles of water given, dental kit, slippers and more. Nice big shower with warm water. The owner was around when we came and he takes the time to talk to guests which is nice. the team are all so friendly and helped us with a firefly tour and easy motorbike rental at very reasonable prices. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant food in the evening was delicious as well. Most places we have been to tend to use far too much oil in the cooking but that wasn’t the case here. Once again, i feel the owner has gone to great lengths to make sure the small things are done correctly here.

ChinaThe hotel is clean and beautiful, and all staffs are very friendly.There are only 10 rooms so that very quiet. During the 4 nights stay, we booked boat and car of via the hotel front desk. They always gave us very useful suggestions and help. I accidentally stained the bed sheet because of using unguent for foot injury and intended to compensate for the cost of laundry.But the staffs cleaned it for free, which made me very grateful. WhenI checked out very early in the morning for flight, the hotel prepared a packed breakfast in advance. Overall, this hotel made our holiday very comfortable and enjoyable, and we would stay here again if we came back.

GermanyLocation: The hotel is located next to the Panglao airport which makes the travel very short to the airport. Facility: The room and the facility overall exceeded our expectations. Very clean and spacious bathroom. Nice pool to swim and restaurant corner to eat. Breakfast: Breakfast was better than the average hotel food (cooked by in-house chef). Service: When the guests of the neighbouring room made too much noise in the night, the issue was quickly solved and managed by transferring us to another room. Bike rental was made very uncomplicated and when we had small damage, the bike was replaced. Overall service was excellent. Very friendly and professional staff and owners. Will definitely come back if we are in Panglao. Big thank you for the great service from the staff!

Everything about the Blue Planet Panglao was brilliant. Nothing was ever too much for the owner and staff. It was my fiancés birthday during our stay and I asked if a cake and champagne could be organised. They went above and beyond, decorating our room whilst we were out, and my fiancé was thrilled with the room upon our return. We really can't recommend the Blue Planet high enough, it went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable.

CanadaThe walls are paper thin could do with some sound proofing to the rooms. We could hear our neighbours conversations and any noise they were making. On our first night I couldn’t sleep because I could hear them talking. If you need to be up early in the morning bring some ear plugs.
situated in a little quite street in panglao this hotel is a great little place to stay. The staff are amazing and very helpful in booking tours and activities for you. If you need a tricycle or car the staff will help you no problem. My wife and I also met the owners of Blue Planet. They were both so friendly and had a great chat with them. if your looking for a place to stay away from the crazy busy touristy Alona Beach area, we definitely recommend Blue Planet.
