Great spacious air-conditioned room, with nice facilities and near beautiful Whites Beach!

It was a bit far from everything so you either need a scooter or have to rely on tuk tuks/the shuttle provided by the homestay to get around which can add up quickly!

Our room with bathroom was excellent, plenty of space, air con worked well and we were lucky enough to have the wifi work. Included breakfast was good, we were given an option of ‘American’ or ‘Filipino’ which just meant rice or toast as an accompaniment to eggs and fruit. Having the pool was also great to cool down on humid days! All staff were super friendly and they even got up early to take us to our early morning ferry to Oslob.

Difficult to connect wifi specially inside the cottage as the connection is really poor. No food and drinks available inside the area and nearby. U need to search somewhere for dinner or lunch or even for snacks. If u don't have transportation, u need to bring food and drinks before check in. Public transport is not that easy to find and not cheap.

Nice place and not crowded. Staffs are friendly and accommodating.

The only strange thing - they just give you breakfast without even letting choose or asking what would you like. It was a simple, but good breakfast - but still, I like to choose from some options, so this can be improved :)

Its looks like its near the beach but the beach is inaccesible. The nearest one is a 25 minute walk.

The outdoor shower with only cold water, was not very enjoyable, and the fact there was no shampoo or soap was also a little disappointing. Their breakfast was not good quality (mixed coffee, tasteless banana, 2 pieces of bread) and when I asked for milk for my coffee (which I brought to have something better), they gave me condensed milk instead.

I loved the swimming pool, and beautiful garden. Also the fact the eating area was putside.

The owners kept a couple of dogs tied up for most of the day and they barked incessantly which made it hard to relax. There were really loud cockerels owned by the neighbours which couldn't be blocked out by earplugs, and we had a few nights of really loud music from neighbours - we appreciate this is outside the owners' control but it's worth being aware that it's a risk before booking, and the way the accommodation huts are built means there's no sound insulation. The bathrooms also weren't cleaned regularly enough (bins often overflowing with used tissue). But overall it's a very good option if you're in Panglao on a budget and hopefully some of these issues can be resolved!

The location is great if you have a scooter (which can be rented easily at the property for a good price). It's close to a really nice beach at the South Palms resort, where you can use the loungers and facilities for free, easily driveable to everywhere with a good canteen close by. The manager was really friendly and helpful and there was 24/7 staffing, which we really appreciated. It was much nicer not staying in Alona, which is noisier and crowded. The free breakfast was good and the resort has some nice places to read / work! We felt it was good value for money and were happy to have stayed there, but there was room for improvement in some areas.

There was no wifi (Jan-Feb 24), although they did say they were working on fixing it.

Open showers and toilets adds to the mini jungle experience. There are hammocks and a chill area by the pool. The staff were really kind and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The garden and the pool are beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Gina organised transfers and a snorkelling tour for us. The hut was basic but with comfortable beds. Outdoor bathroom facilities are sufficient, and it was just nice to shower outside!

Make sure you have enough cash with you since atm’s within walking distance don’t work. The locks on the bathroom should be adjusted a little bit so its easier to close them.

The bath didn’t have a proper drainage, so it was all completely wet for some time, after a shower. Full of ants, but probably not a surprise for huts in the nature.

Some insects (spiders and its webs) and linger in some corners. Some decorations are dusty. But these are negligible and basically nitpicks.

Tropical-like environment for guests to unwind. The place is quiet and relaxing. If you want to be relatively away from the hustle and bustle of the Panglao town proper, this is a good place to stay. Great value for money as well if you have a busy travel schedule for your vacation and not staying in all the time.

The dogs are cute and friendly. Nice that breakfast is served considering the price we paid for our stay. The place looks nice, cool, and quiet. Staff are very welcoming and approachable.

During the night the noise and music vibration from the neighbouring village. You feel like you are remote but in reality not that remote.

Very nice place, run by the family. The main road is just 2 minutes walking. Out of a super busy area but groceries, and some activities or nightlife are still within walking distance.

Location was quiet far from anything, a moped is a must have (you can rent them for a reasonable price at the Homestay) breakfast was bread and eggs, very basic. Lots of insects around the Homestay which is expected.
