Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe just didn’t get to spend enough time there. We spent two weeks and it went by very quickly.
Wonderful staff. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel to check in we were greeted by at least a dozen front house staff with wonderful greetings to welcome us. all staff was extremely attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The chefs at breakfast went out of their way to spoil us and accommodate our every need. The selection of food was wonderful, but the service was much better. All front and staff from Bellman to front desk to management. We’re all exceptional. You will not even find this type of service and kindness at the Ritz Carlton. If we could rate this a 20 out of 10 we would. The hotel is exceptionally clean from the rooms to the common area to the restaurants, spotless.

CanadaThe TV service was sub par.....TV streaming was so slow that my Android phone operated faster in comparison. I was not able to watch a single streaming program. I did not realize that there was a pool available to us on the upper floors (not sure if it was highlighted in the brochures anywhere...or at check-in time....perhaps a gentle reminder during check-in would have been good). There was a smell of new construction in the air (like fresh cement) in the room and hallways that I found to be mildly bothersome (perhaps due to newness on the building construction?)…so air quality could be a little better. The bed linen was clean but there were some hairs in the corners of the bathroom floor (vacuuming not done often enough or just missed this time?). These small things is the difference between the very best hotels and the ones that aren't there yet.
Staff were super courteous (kudos to them). The restaurant food was of good quality....although one thing that I did not appreciate was on the breakfast buffet ...where corn syrup was being advertised as "Maple" syrup. I'm Canadian and know very well the difference. Suggest calling it syrup please! The SPA was excellent as well....highly recommended. The SM shopping concourse is next door and in that mall there is an Italian trattoria with very authentic cuisine called "PREGO" - highly recommended.

BelgiumElevators are used by a lot of other offices thus .less secure for hotel guests.. Cleaning of rooms are not consistent. Sometimes they come very late in the afternoon to clean up. One tea bag in the room if you want to use the kettle. Coffee drinkers have 2.😅
Room is very comfortable and big enough. Bathroom is modern and well designed.

SpainIt was a bit pricey. For the price, the TV at the hotel could offer Netflix and/or other modern streaming platforms instead of awesomely bad satellite TV channels. The Viva channel did take me on a nostalgia trip though, so there is that.
The rooftop pool with views of BGC and even the famous Manila sunset is hard to beat. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable, and the reception super friendly. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. To top it off, the hotel is literally next door to SM Aura and all the urban wonders of BGC (and the *embos too!) are right at your feet.
