How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The aircon in one room was not that cool. Or maybe it’s just the overall weather in Cebu on a summer day.
The staff are cheerful and acommodating! Safe and secure.we left our luggages unlocked but returned with all the stuff in one piece!

There is nothing I dont like aboutvthe property. It is a little old , but it was kept clean, affordable and with very polite , friendly staffs.
the Property is near to all lications and quite accessible with good flow of taxis and establishments for dining are just in front of the hotel.

toiletries- instead of providing bar soap, should replace with 3 in one shampoo or body shampoo. 2ndly, the water showers a bit low and it will be perfect if the water pressure can be increased
about the payment. the hotel should inform earlier the additional charges when using credit card payment. nevertheless, we do understand that the credit card charges. the reception and staff are excellent and accommodate us well. well done

Great stay in the center of Cebu for a very good price. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was comfy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There are a variety of good restaurants/cafés within walking distance, as well as a shopping mall. Can recommend this hotel. :-)

A bit noisy because our room was close to the street and also the air cond was extremely noisy and very hard to sleep with it.
Location is great, convenient and comfortable place. Hot shower available (not the case everywhere in Philippine) and good wifi network.

Staff weren’t too friendly and not helpful at all for our questions considering the rest of our experience in the Philippines. Overpriced also it’s one of the most expensive accommodation we had in the Philippines and by far the worst.

Comfort of the room, AC is not cold and it’s noisy. Limited amenities. No free water and coffee you have to buy it.

Aircon seemed to struggle at points, for a few hours overnight it got very hot in the room and so we struggled to sleep as well because of this. Otherwise it was okay. Only other thing was that the door locked fine from the inside, but we tried to lock it from the outside one morning and couldn’t get it to lock, so one of us had to stay back. Maybe hotel has explanation for this but as only one night stay didn’t bother us too much, in another situation might have been a significant problem.
Nice little place for the price (3 of us travelling as a group)

1. My friends who were on the second floor's bathroom sink is leaking. 2. The shower in our bathroom is so weak. 3. There are no complimentary shampoo, toothbrush and paste. Only a tiny bar was provided.
I love that our room is on the roof top with lounge, dining table, grill, and the city view. The owner is very hospitable.

It's a bit dated
We were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was on the top floor so we had the outside terrace space which was so nice to escape the noise of the city. The room was big and clean. Handy shop downstairs and close to plenty of places to eat and drink

The room looks old however its ok, but i guess it needs a little make over and elevator is plus since you have a room at the 4th floor. My senior parents are having a hard time going up and down the stairs with their luggage. plumbing needs to be checked, the room we got had the fumes from the drainage. We just put liquid det and had the exhaust at the bathroom open. When you open the bathroom door it really smells bad.

Soap is so thin and melt easily. No shampoo. No buddy refrigerator (can be requested with charge). No electric kettle. No hair dryer. Glass/cup available upon request.
Bed is comfortable. Beddings and towels are very clean. Staff are helpful and kind. Free hot and cold water. Good wifi. Many fast food near the hotel.
