The owners as well as the staffs were polite, heartwarming and thoughtful people. The place is exceptionally clean and the ambiance of the whole property is very relaxing and quite, ideal for those who needs a place to relax. The room is huge and comfortable with all the basic necessities for comfort. We will definitely go back to Casa Basa. 🙂

Very clean and quiet stay. It's close enough to be in General Luna or Secret Beach with a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride, but far enough to enjoy some quiet, natural, almost rural surroundings. Abundant breakfast, accommodating staff - chatty and discreet as needed - very fast in fulfilling our very last-minute requests for an Island Hop Tour and a ride to the airport.

Casa Basa is the perfect place to stay in Siargao. It’s only 5 mins by scooter to the centre of General Luna but it’s nice to be in a quieter location. The facilities are excellent, very clean and comfortable. Most of all the owners and staff (and dogs) are amazing. They make you feel so welcome and are always there to help and answer any questions. I really look forward to returning to Siargao and Casa Basa soon.

Such incredibly kind people. Super clean rooms, excellent service,good quit location and a delicious breakfast. Also, they're super sweet to the animals. We hope to come back one day!

We are glad that we chose this place for the beginning of our trip to Philippines. The hosts are amazing, they have taken all the stress from us and offered anything we needed (tour, ATM, places to visit, scooter). We are really thankful for such a hassle free and welcoming stay. The owner and his wife were wonderful and exceptionally warm people - we have spent quite a few hours talking with them and it was amazing and eye-opening. If you are into meeting locals and learning more about Siargao - please stay here - it is worth every Peso!!!

Casa Basa is just a bit further from where most of the activities are so trike drivers will try to get you to pay extra even if it can cost just PHP50 to most places. Otherwise, it's really not too far and the place is so peaceful.

Very clean, well-maintained place with the kindest & friendliest hosts, staff, and management. They provide insect repellent and spray for the room, and refresh the tissue, towels, trash, and remake the beds frequently. They are also very responsive and approachable for any questions or concerns whether via the Booking.com app or in-person. Casa Basa feels so safe with extra security measures for after dinner hours! It's also great if you need to stay in for work or need a place to come back to after a long day enjoying Siargao.

We really love Casa Basa, the design is absolutely stunning, modern and clean. The attention is particularly special all the time. They rented us the best moto in the Philippines, super new! The location was also ok to go by moto or tricycle to town. Highly recommended 😀 exceed our expectations, hopefully we can repeat!

All of the staff in Casa Basa were extremely friendly and accommodating, they sorted out transport for us every day and their friendliness made our stay so enjoyable. The rooms were extremely spacious and the breakfast was delicious. We loved the huge bookshelf with a wide range of books. They also made a special effort for our friends birthday which was a lovely touch.

My only tip would be to make sure not to leave anything on the bathroom floor when you take a shower—sometimes the water makes it all the way across the floor and soaks even the bathmat :)

Casa Basa was wonderful! All staff are some welcoming, kind, and friendly. I rented a motorbike to use during my stay, and Mich kindly gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. The property is a 5-10 minute ride from the main General Luna area, but I preferred this; it was so peaceful and quiet at the accommodation. They were also working to make the Starlink internet even better during my stay—this made it easier for me to get some work done. There were occasional power outages due to the island-wide power issues, but Casa Basa has a backup generator, so things were restored quickly. Breakfasts and smoothies were delicious, and the adorable dogs were also a big plus for me. It was a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again the next time I come to Siargao! Thanks to the whole team!

Everything was excellent.

The whole staff was exceptionally accommodating and responsive. Whatever we needed Mitch and the staff were on top of it (massage, airport transfers, tricycle). It around 5-10 minutes from the town center so just enough quiet. Less than 5 minutes walk from the main road. Rooms were spacious.

We really enjoyed this accommodation. Casa Basa is new and very nice and stylish. Everything is clean. The location is calm, so when you want to rest a little bit from the night life in General Luna, that’s the place. Also the food was very good there, we liked their breakfasts and coffee. Owner Ralf and his family are so nice and helpful, we were feeling really good here, they are so warm, kind and hospitable. They help us a lot with our traveling trough the island. Everything was perfect highly recommended!
