although everything was good during our stay in Casalay. the bed was very comfortable, toilet/bathroom is very spacious. The only i noticed is about the ants in our room some are crawling on bed, and another thing is we have problem of getting tickets going back to Batangas. There was a lacked of information about this.

We stayed at the last room on the property, meaning we had to climb over 200 stairs to reach our room, which was a bit much for my partner's parents. We also had some issues with hot water and the cleanliness of the room when we first got there as I'm not sure the second bedroom in our room had been used all that recently.

We love everything, just the lacking door to divide the comfort room and the bedroom (just a bathroom curtain) . It is unfortable to deal with the call of nature if somebody will smell it ( if you know what I mean.🤭) Also, there is no television in the room, maybe because the place is really for relaxation and to encourage more outdoor activities for the guests. You will also need to prepare your legs for the stairs, just a heads up for others :)

The place is so peaceful and relaxing with a very nice view. My husband and I are so satisfied with the food they offer and with their very accommodating staff. The room is clean and comfy. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available and smell good. The hot and cold shower is working and has a very high water pressure even if our room is located at the top. I enjoyed staying outside the room, at the balcony, and listening to the sound of nature. I also appreciate that they are very reachable thru call and thru their facebook and booking dot com chat even thru email. I encountered a problem with card charges, and the resort manager, Gaurav, and the customer service helped me revolve it. Thank you so much, Casalay team! Highly recommendable. We will definitely go back :)

Lack of transparency from the personnel on the cost of the boat service. I was told it was free, but after receiving the bill on check out, I had to find out that the boat service is free only on arrival and check out. It would have been only fair that the staff informed me on this before offering the boat service. Also, I'd have appreciated daily housekeeping. The room was cleaned only once after arrival when the staff were fixing wifi in my villa which didn't work on arrival. Finally, there's quite a lot of ants getting into the villa. Apart from that, I had an amazing stay. Highly recommend 3 hr snorkelling option.

Very beautiful, secluded place. Amazing snorkelling spots close by and free kayaks available. The standard villa looks better in life than in pictures.

The doors in the villa are noisy when opening and closing. The stairs are bit slippery. Pool has some leaves.

Quiet and private location. Food is delicious. AC is working fine. Place looks new. They have both pool and sea in the front.

The change in Puerto..cant get small boat directly from hotel to go smorkling. Need big boat go to Muele and pay a tax and then get a small boat. Nothing to do with this hotel.

Getting to the resort can be tedious. The ferries to and from Puerta Galera never seem to depart or arrive on time. The terminals get very crowded and chaotic during holiday season. From Puerta Galera port one needs to take a toktok to go to Muelle harbor and from there a boat to Casalay. The beach in front of the resort is not good for swimming. We walked to Coco Beach during low tide. The beach is a bit dirty. The list of beverages could be expanded. Strangely, the resort did not have buko juice.

The staff at the resort are exceptionally friendly and responsive. They helped us organize the snorkeling trip and our transportation back to Manila. The cottages are spacious and bigger than expected. There's coffee and tea in the room. The fridge also has a good size. Towels and toiletries are of good quality. The food is simple but decent.

While it felt secure, please have locks on the sliding doors (stayed in the plunge pool). Hopefully, the jets in the plunge pool works next time.

on the quiet secluded side of Puerto Galera. Great for introverts to recharge. super friendly staff. Highlight of our stay is the warm service. Everyone is customer-oriented. Later into the night (housekeeping no longer available), a gecko (part of the resort’s charm being in the middle of nature) made an accident and dropped it right in the middle of the bed. They front desk staff gladly changed our sheets. I’m a sucker for nice bed sheets and thick white towels; which the property has. Nice toiletries, too. Really love the scents they use.

The resort is new, nice bungalows and swimming pool. Magnificent view. All people were very friendly and helpful. As the resort is new, some improvements are still ongoing (diversity of the menu, finishing of some parts of the buildings). Will be happy to return.

The resort is a little bit away from the busy area, so you'll need to take a boat to get to the port and then ride a habal-habal around the island but the resort will help you with that, which is great.

I only received a message about a free shuttle boat to the property on the day of check in. As I was travelling and had no WiFi I missed the message. I had to walk for 15 mins in the dark to get to the property. The locals were super friendly and helped me with my bags but I had no idea where I was going! Contact the property in plenty of time to book in the free shuttle boat. You can only get a Tuk Tuk to the road 15 minutes from the resort.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful location and fabulous private Villas. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious . Luxury stay at an affordable price. Lovely quiet, chilled out vibe. Will come back for sure!

We saw some parts of the room that weren't as clean as we hoped, but it was okay, it was manageable. There were also ants in certain spots, which was a little bothersome, but considering it's a beach and nature spot, it's understandable.

We really enjoyed the peaceful vibe at the resort. The staff were super friendly and approachable, the food was excellent, and the view from our room was breathtaking. It was an overall fantastic and relaxing experience.

I had an exceptional stay at Casalay. Taking a boat to the property adds to a feeling of exclusivity. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. They think about your safety and comfort. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxation. Their food is delicious and has a variety of options.

The stairs were hard to climb in the heat but they were one of prettiest feature and for photography at the villa. You will need to take a boat to go into town if you need to stock up on anything such as medicine/toiletries but the accommodation really does cater to that

we love that the beach was right infront! You’re able to snorkel and see beautiful coral and fishes at the entrance if you don’t have time to book one in. They also had paddle boarding and clear kayaking at the front. most of all everyone were the friendliest and accomodating staff and catered to our 1 year old. Also 24/7 monitored and manned by security.
