Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing, I genuinely couldn't find fault. My old job meant I practically lived in Hotels for 30 years, so i often catch out a place that seems good, but is just covering the cracks...couldn't find a thing wrong here.
I really can't find fault..I know the review says I stayed 2 nights, but it was so good I stayed a week! Firstly this hotel has extremely efficient security, based outside on patrol, who also, if you require a taxi, will check and record the drivers status (licence etc) should you have any problems at a later date, they have a record to pursue, this is just an example of a customer-focused staff and a great hotel. Secondly the hotel reception is manned 24/7 with both a helpful receptionist and concierge, both totally focused on giving you a great holiday, Mike, John, etc I already miss you, and your local knowledge! In-house they have a lovely little restaurant, with a nice coffee bar, this was a bonus to me as I'm a caffeine junkie. The hotel itself, might put some folks off, it's religiously themed, but this hotel was built in 2021 to celebrate 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines (hence the name) by a conglomerate of local businessmen, with fascinating displays and some lovely artwork in the lobby, so it's the theme of the hotel rather than being a religious building. The rooms...easily on a par with any Western 4 star I've stayed in, key card entry, 24/7 hot showers, REAL clean rooms..not just look clean, keycode room safe's, great AC, fantastic powerful free wifi (mines was as powerful in the room as in the lobby), kettle (which was spotless, this is often overlooked), cups, glasses etc, and a mini fridge..4 cold ones makes all the difference when you come in from the heat! Complimentary toiletries as standard. Laundry service, which I used, comes in at 400 pesos for a 5kg bag, I sent down two bags before 9am (the cut off) and had everything back at 2pm, clean and folded...meant I flew home with clean folded clothes. TV with all expected local and international channels.

CanadaThe hotel is situated in the middle between IT and Business Park but it was in a quiet neighborhood, away from the bars and clubs which I liked very much. The hotel staff is the best I have ever experienced in any of my hotel stays in the Philippines. Mike is a phenomenal staff member of Cebu Quincentennial Hotel, he was so attentive to my emotional state during my stay at the hotel. He would provide outstanding recommendations on food and ways to get around Cebu while also making the entire stay enjoyable and fun.

LithuaniaWe found strange that whole window was covered in opaque film. I think curtains could solve the issue without covering the view even if its not a sea view :D
The hotel is new and very convenient. The breakfast was unbelievable. Staff is very attentive and professional.

NetherlandsThe position of the Aircon is right next to the bed. It's in addition somewhat noisy, even when the fan is set to a lower setting. It didn't bother me, but it might be a problem for those sensitive to noise. Some outside noise is present too during the day.
Clean, adequately spaced, and modern rooms. All basics you expect can be found in the room. Including a kettle, safe & toothbrushes. The location is quite nice too, right next to the mall. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't mind spending a little more for a great place to stay. Breakfast is available, but we didn't make use of it.

RomaniaI booked the room with breakfast, but our flight was changed, and we needed to leave the hotel early in the morning. I asked to cancel the breakfast, and they told me it is impossible and they will prepare a breakfast box with sandwiches. Of course, it didn't happen at 4 in the morning, so I paid for breakfast but never had it. The AC is very noisy, and we can also hear everything happening from outside.
The hotel is ok, clean, and a good restaurant, even if it's a little pricey. For overnight stay was ok.

AustraliaThe air conditioning unit was super noisy even on low setting and it was blowing right over the bed which was not great. Not too important but when we checked in the air-conditioning in the room was not on so the room was super hot and stuffy and took a bit of time to get to normal temp. Weirdly there is no airflow in the corridors so getting from the lobby to the room is quite stuffy.
The hotel is new so everything was modern and clean. Comfy bed and good shower. It was an alright stay for one night when we transited through cebu.
