A very good address for this private room. The place is quiet and very well maintained. Located very close to the famous Tubod beach. The owners are adorable and available to make your stay easier. There is also the excellent restaurant located very close to the place of residence. I recommend.

As in much of the Philippines, the WI-FI wasn’t the best in all parts of the room. However it had a strong signal on the balcony

The owners were extreme welcoming and helpful: giving us welcome drinks and assisting with our needs throughout our stay. We were offered advice and a map to help navigate the island which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and spacious with good shower pressure, a kettle and a fridge. The location is good for exploring the island and you can hire a bike for a reasonable rate. We also used their tuk tuk service to the port which was cheap and efficient. A definite recommended stay for when in Siquijor!

The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for you! Special shout-out to Mai Mai and Bong for sorting our ferry to Cebu out when we weren’t able to book online. You can also rent bikes for cheap and it’s a great way to get around the island

Just a tiny tiny thing, but there’s no water dispenser to fill your reusable bottle. We we were allowed to ask for it at the restaurant and they were happy to help every time, but having one near the rooms would be nice.

We loved our stay here. The room is so much nicer than you can see in the pictures. The room was really spacious with a huge bathroom. The staff was so friendly and did everything to make us have a pleasant time here. It was perfectly clean and location is good.

It was a beautiful house with a beautiful garden. Enough space for our 11-months-old boy to run around and play. The shower was great, the room clean. We had everything we needed.

It is the island of constant brownouts so a back up generator would be a good addition particularly if you get back from a tour in the evening and with no electricity the water pressure in the shower is nothing but a trickle.

I loved my stay at Chekesh. It's fantastic value for money. Food was excellent, staff were so friendly, offers scooter hire and close to everything. Will stay again.

Lovely family run place with friendly, helpful staff. Very good food. Clean, comfy room. Very close to Tubod Beach. Can rent a scooter, or plenty of trikes to hire to other parts of San Juan, also walkable if you want. Would stay again!

Just small things which they can maybe do better. The aircondition is noisy and maybe the fittings in the bathroom needs a small modernization.

The room was big and we loved the privacy there with the nice garden in front of us. The bed was also very comfortable so we slept very good also because of the quiet area around. The staff was kind and cleaned our room whenever we asked for. The location is amazing because it's in Tubod, San Juan. A lot of good restaurants and stores around and also Tubod Beach.

There was no water fountain near our room therefore we wasted a lot of plastic bottles, which is unlikely anywhere else we have stayed in the Philippines.

Gorgeous clean room in a lovely green setting, perfectly located near restaurants, beach and waterfalls. Staff were extremely friendly and helped with laundry and renting us a motorbike. The food in their restaurant was good and very reasonably priced.

This place is incredible and offers everything you need for your stay in Siquijor. The staff were lovely from the moment we arrived, welcomed us with welcome drinks and helped with our bags when we were ready to check into the room which was up the road. There was a sign welcoming us to our room (see picture) which was a really nice touch. The room was very clean and everything provided for, even a fridge with water, Cokes and beers and a kettle. They offer bike rental at a really good price and very accommodating if you need anything else. We ate at the restaurant several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the waiting staff were very good at their jobs and the food was incredible, especially the sweet and sour chicken with garlic rice. They also made us packed breakfast for when we leave and took us back to the port. Great location with tubod Beach close by, along with other popular sites and beaches within 20 minutes. We extended our stay here by three nights as we loved it so much. No complaints, would definitely recommend!

Very nice and cozy guest house. It is located like 300 m from the main road which means that it is peaceful. It has nice big room and cozy patio. It was nice to sit outside in the wooden rolling chair and admire the lush, beautiful garden. Guest house's restaurant (reception too) is located in the main road and restaurant is one of the best on the island. Staff and owners are nice and friendly. Beach is like 5 minutes walk. They have motorbike to rent.

Staying with MaiMai and Giovanni was great! The room was very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. It even came with a fridge. They made sure that we felt at home and had everything we might need. We loved their garden just in front of the room. The food at their restaurant which is around the corner is great as well and so are the drinks. Its well located, just minutes from the beach and the marine sanctuary and a beautiful waterfall. We would definitely stay again.
